Hi Job, I loved watching your video! Personally, I don‘t enjoy using a Bullet Journal as my work planner because I don‘t always have the motivation to set up new spreads each day or week. That‘s why I set up a Hobonichi Cousin-style vertical weekly planner with a bit over a year‘s worth of spreads to which I add a bunch of extra spreads in the back for things I want to track or notes to keep in mind for my work.

I use a Hobonichi Cousin avec as a "teacher planner" for the third year now and it's the best teacher planner system ever had. 💕🥰

I use hobonichi cousin for my teacher planner, just find it easier to jot things down and less time consuming (for me at least). Years before i did do bullet journal style for teacher planner but took too much time designing and it fizzled out. But this video makes me want to try it again 😅

I use my hobonichi, too. I find the layout perfect for planning daily/weekly, but for detailed planning, I love to use good old excel/word haha

Thank you for sharing. I’ve been trying to figure out how to incorporate my teacher life into my bujo, but most I have seen are elementary school formatted. Yours is more minimalist and I can see how I would adopt your spreads for my purposes. What do you use for a class tracker for attendance/ parent contact? I generally do that on computer but there were system glitches last year that mean I need to do that stuff on paper.

I use TN regular with weekly vertical and either blank or grid insert for meeting notes because I need structure for schedules as my work days as a fashion design teacher is different from regular school. I added a tri-fold folder when I need to bring home an A4 paper from meetings before I transfer them to my Notion. I was thinking to change my work journal but so far this system works well for me

Thanks for all your content I’m an administrator in Indiana started this year off bullet journaling with a full-size traveler’s notebook. I had previously use Doane Paper to bullet journal, but found that I needed to compartmentalize and do a little bit more project planning now that I am a principal instead of assistant principal. I’m revising my system. I think my next step is three tiered, thinking about taking the plunge on a Roterfaden with a Hobonichi planner and notebook in it and then get back into using Notion for project planning. Would love to see how you use your digital planning to supplement
