After watching hundreds of wild land fire videos, this is hands down the best footage I’ve ever seen.

This is some incredible footage. It's unbelievable how it was spotting and moving across that field. That grass looked almost like straw - extremely dry and primed to burn. Thank you for bringing such a great perspective to what happens in a wildfire. Those firefighters are true heroes. We don't see this kind of thing in south Georgia thankfully. Prayers for all that have to deal with this on a yearly basis. I couldn't imagine fearing this kinda thing every year.

That’s because it is....tall , dry, dead grass. It grows back every year. Fire spreads at an incredible rate through that grass....that’s how many of the fires get started.....California is covered with it

You can see how a 1’ spot fire in dry grass goes from that to a 20’ circle of fire in 10 seconds. In the time it takes him to turn his camera that spot erupts! Horrible. Thanks for the videos man I’m glad I found your Chanel. Wildfires are so interesting to me.

That’s so insane how fast the spots take control. So much respect. Living in Oklahoma I’d rather have a day of 20 tornadoes than battle what you boys battle every year. Hats off.

Excellent video. Those awesome firefighters looked like they were playing wack a mole with all those spot fires. As quickly as they occur and spread, it's very easy to get tunnel vision and get trapped and unable to see your safety zone. In this situation, having more than one safety officer /lookout is very important to the safety and survival of the fire crews and engines. Stay safe. (I'm a semi- retired wildland & structure firefighter recovering from 2 shoulder surgeries).

    Hi 564 Fire.
What great coverage, you demonstrated how the fire can spread so fast with the spotfires!! Also explained very well on the behaviour of the fire and the technology of wildlands firefighting. I ve just recently subscribed on to your outstanding videos, as I have taken an interest on this subject.. read quite a few of the books regarding U.S. Wildlands fires and Your narrative on your videos explains the terminology and sayings from these books, very educational.
Fortunately, in the UK, we don't have fire seasons Compared to yours. I fully appreciate what you guys go through, to save lifes and property, before thinking of yourself..
    Take care and stay safe.

Veoma slaba oprema.
