I can't even imagine what it was like during the night having to worry about a Tornado possibly hitting the track. It would be a sad day if that track was destroyed by a tornado
Me and a buddy were here for that race. I was telling him how I was surprised no crashes with 400+ cars competing. Next cars to come down the track smashed at the 1k’ mark, he flipped out. Later that night the sky started getting very dark. I told him this looks like tornado weather coming in. Minutes later they announced the tornado warning. It was crazy. But a good time. He thought I was possessed or something. Sat in the parking field watching people treading water and getting stuck while we sat there in a car full of smoke laughing our asses off.
I will always love watching All Out But That "rematch" was bull$#:+! Both of those cars should have been eliminated. In the next race, The Buick ran slower than the other car and they eliminated him, WTF?! Got to love when the host breaks their own rules and no one says anything about it.😡👎
No one gets a bye run unless it's due to a mechanical failure. Go back and watch the episode from Shreveport. 2 cars that matched against each other suffered from mechanical failure and the crew brought back a man who lost in the 16. Also, it may seem that the Buick ran slower, but they have control of the timing system and can see who runs faster than they should. Sometimes cars pick up in speed and run faster than intended. Not to mention that the Buick is also a turbo car, and turbos are inconsistent at speeds that slow. Nothing here was breaking the rules but adapting to what cards are handed to them.
I think the same as the ford guy I mean the race they had to rerun was crap the left lane jump so the woman in the right lane should have won off gate and where I am at chase is a race on arm drops
Jesus the "strip club DJ" voice wasn't cool even back then. Can't imagine why this show didn't make it 🫣😂 these producers were so tone deaf to the reality of the crowd they needed to reach. Perfect idea especially for the time. Out of touch/date execution.
It don't matter what state they're in the weather is shit, always clouds, looking like it's gonna rain any minute. The government and military need to stop controlling the weather.
