Wow, it was so powerful when I listened. I am sure many people here understand without me having to try describe it. I've woken up this morning and found this video and your channel. I have only begun reading the bible in the last few months but so much of what I already kind of believed, is making even more sense now. I am excited to explore!! It's been a year since you posted reading....well listening to Roman's 8 & watching this series. A lot can happen in a year, & I pray that God has continued to show Himself to you and you are daily laying down your life so He can shape you & transform you more & more onto the likeness of Christ! Love this. Romans 8:29-30 were some of the very first verses I ever tried to learn and remember because they demonstrate the fruit of God's ETERNAL grace. We who are truly christian & regenerate are so only because our election to faith was derived out of God's grace in love for us. Grace-Election-Redemption-(sanctification)salvation.
Keith Thompson I have been reading the Scriptures daily for a while. I have always known how precious the word is, but I didn't have the habbit to read a single verse and really think about it, about the message that it contains! Like, Luke 12:32, that passed me by in less than a minute. Now, when I read it, I remember so much more, I get so much confort!

This chapter and Isaiah 54vs 17 where God says No WEAPON formed against thee shall PROSPER was preached at my 17 yr old son named PROSPER's funeral . It reminds me that God is greater than any WEAPON that comes against us I dont think it was a coincidence that my son PROSPER died at 17 and the No WEAPON SHALL PROSPER is the 17vs God is SOVEREIGN and intentional

Exactly. A lot of new bibles along with preachers omit the 2nd part of verse one where it says: not who walk after the flesh but after the spirit. Newer bibles and most preachers just read verse one like this: There is now therefore no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus. Then they move on to the next verse. We need to stop being Christians that only take one verse and run with it.

It's been a year since you posted reading....well listening to Roman's 8 & watching this series. A lot can happen in a year, & I pray that God has continued to show Himself to you and you are daily laying down your life so He can shape you & transform you more & more onto the likeness of Christ! If you have fallen off, I pray my message will encourage you to pick up the Bible, put on the app & read His Word & let it work in you.

Love this. Romans 8:29-30 were some of the very first verses I ever tried to learn and remember because they demonstrate the fruit of God's ETERNAL grace. We who are truly christian & regenerate are so only because our election to faith was derived out of God's grace in love for us. Grace-Election-Redemption-(sanctification)salvation.

Keith Thompson I have been reading the Scriptures daily for a while. I have always known how precious the word is, but I didn't have the habbit to read a single verse and really think about it, about the message that it contains! Like, Luke 12:32, that passed me by in less than a minute. Now, when I read it, I remember so much more, I get so much confort!

Also, when has ANY angel been given a choice to alter the nature of not yet born angels, and weaken their volition, as Eve was?

This chapter and Isaiah 54vs 17 where God says No WEAPON formed against thee shall PROSPER was preached at my 17 yr old son named PROSPER's funeral . It reminds me that God is greater than any WEAPON that comes against us
I dont think it was a coincidence that my son PROSPER died at 17 and the No WEAPON SHALL PROSPER is the 17vs

Exactly. A lot of new bibles along with preachers omit the 2nd part of verse one where it says: not who walk after the flesh but after the spirit.
Newer bibles and most preachers just read verse one like this:
There is now therefore no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus.
Then they move on to the next verse.
We need to stop being Christians that only take one verse and run with it.

Some good overview, but also some confusing points brought out of nowhere (the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, is prayer, us speaking to God? Didn't God know us before predestining us? Etc.). Still, edifying! Thank you.
