0:12 - replacement battery module
0:40 - replacement optical drive
2:37 - replacement keyboard
4:13 - replacement motherboard
4:50 - replacement fan and heatsink
5:00 - clean CPU/GPU and heatsink
5:26 - applying thermal grease/paste

Btw, I've broken many plastic tabs in the process (this is not a video criticism, but a warning for the ones trying). Also, the hdd is surprisingly hidden compared to others I've dissassembled

Is there any way to upgrade the CPU and integrated graphics? Since on a website I checked it says a i5 3230M processor is compatible

What are you using to clean up the paste? I'm scared to touch those external pins or to move some paste over them which may cause problems when powering it back on, depending on the material of the paste... (I personally never use metal based ones, but no idea what they used in factory) I faulted a laptop last time because the previous owner used silver-based paste and it spread over those pins during clean-up, getting stuck between them...

How do you remove the fan considering you removed it before the video was made.

Those are low wattage processors and those machines are fanless (no fan). That is normal for this series.
