i love how elle is expanding her video topics. i love it!!! she still does favorites and tutorials but i mean, you kind of run out of makeup looks after three years. blair has definitely run out of ideas, but i feel like elle has a new and fresh idea every video and i love them! so if you are looking for beauty videos only, go look somewhere else.
I've used silverware drawer liners for years for my makeup. I love it, it seems to fit everything perfectly.
I'm moving out of home soon and this has inspired me to get rid of all my junk and get organized!! Thanks Elle :)

why do people act as if Elle owes us something? She owes you nothing! She works hard on her videos, and puts up the kind of stuff she wants on her channel. If you want tutorials all the time there are lots of other gurus out there to watch. Alot of people request videos like this and like them. I just hope peoples stupid comments dont stop her from making videos. Why do people have no respect for one another?
I use that mesh silverware container for my lipsticks! I just have them standing upright. Love it!!

People, stop judging makeup gurus. I used to tell myself that they were stupid or they just waste all their money on makeup which is really hypocritical of me because i once played with dolls, and i wasnt like 4 or 5, i was 10 and i really enjoyed it. I would save up alll my money just to buy them little furniture. My point is, never let anyone tell you something you do is wrong. I do not hide the face that i play with dolls because it made me happy. BTW I luv you Elle! :)

For the MAC lipsticks--have you thought about putting color indicators on the top? You can use a hole punch to make little circles of white paper, then rub the lipstick over and let it dry before you glue/tape it to the corresponding lid. That way you can see what color they are right away!
Could you do a video on how you organize your vanity? Because I have the same one and I am having trouble on how I can use the big drawers at the bottom for makeup, etc. :)

In the silverware holder for lush products you can put tissue paper at the bottom wear you set your soaps... Like the lining to make more decorative and wont get messy

Why don't you open up those boxes cut the excess inch and put them back together if they snap on so eaasily? The lid will still fit the box and you won't have to lower your shelves in order for them to fit in your dressing

I hope more people will understand us… I have to justify to family members, friends and other people how makeup isn't "just superficial" or a "mask to hide our face/imperfections"… And really it gets annoying. i would line the mesh organizer with wax paper to store your lush stuff in ! just cut it to the proper dimension so it looks neat, but i think it would keep your organizer clean and you can just switch the wax paper when it gets dirty from all the soaps !

@malyboobarbee it's a really old piece. there's a blog post somewhere that she did showing what her headboard 1st looked like. it was a wreck b/c it was so old and worn out. but yes, she did get it repainted and upholstered. she also had those crystals put in. there are tons of styles out there very similar to hers, or the same one if you're lucky, if you're looking for a headboard.
