I havent watched this video in over ten years, but I still remembered you by name because you set such an impression. I hope you are doing well. This cover was absolutely mind blowing.
I don't know what year I discovered this, maybe 2010 or something like that, and I periodically come hear and rewatch it. One of the best covers ever: not perfect, but boy does it have character
Theres 3 Zildjian A Custom splashes directly up front 8, 10, 12 inches. then stacked upside down atop the 10 and 12 are a 6" zil-bel on the left and a LP 7 inch bell on the right. You can tell they are bells by the big cup shape they have.
not only was insanely impressed i was also impressed by your traditional grip playing> no one can play metal in traditional and thats very unique. every fill was dead on and you were never of time. very very good job man. if your not in a band get in one!
this is without a doubt the hardest jfac song to cover on drums, for me atleast... entities is also difficult, but the double bass speed in this one is definently harder, but the gravity blasts in as well. fantastic playing dude
this is insane... your kit sounds awesome. it's not often that you hear blasts this "unplugged." and usually when you do, they sound sloppy and awful! but this video sounds amazing! every drum is clear as a bell, but totally organic! i love it. great job man.
props u did a hell of a good job bro and i agree with u with any other instrument if u only learn to play one gengre of music then thats as good as ull ever go u have to expand ur knowledge and learn from every type of music to expand ur capacities and learn form all other elements of music
@Ranesus two things...first, that aint holding a stick wrong, its called "traditional". second its not so he can flip his sticks, its obviously because he prefers playing like that.
Nick, how do you work up your 32nd notes on your right hand? Like for ride grooves such as 11th hour or Now You've Got Something To Die For, Blood of The Scribe...... Basically shit Chris Adler used to pull off a lot more frequently.
After years, I'm still thinking this cover is the best cover ever
check out 'Kauko Kuusisalo trying to play Portal', it's one of my fav all time covers along with this one
+kiwidubz let me see it
I love seeing people blast with the traditional grip.
I havent watched this video in over ten years, but I still remembered you by name because you set such an impression. I hope you are doing well. This cover was absolutely mind blowing.
