The problem with the “find the unique item” challenges is that there’s usually multiple distinctions you can draw. For the ores one, for example, lapis ore was the only block that will drop multiple items without fortune.
I don’t think anyone realised, but emerald is the only ore that has a different shape

tip for solving mazes since I saw a lot of people struggling: the only go right strategy only works if all walls inside the maze are attached to a perimeter and there are no free walls inside the maze. for a method that is useful in general for any maze that will not always get you the best time but will get you a relatively good time, use the flood method
the flood method is done by assuming there are no walls between you and the target destination, and every time you hit a wall, reroute to the shortest path assuming there are no other obstacles by just going around that specific wall. by doing this every time you hit a wall, you should reach your final destination relatively quickly, but this method only works if you have a destination in mind or if you know where the destination is, so if the exit is hidden somewhere in the maze and you must find it, this method will be ineffective. for more details, look up 'flood fill algorithm'
fun fact: the type of maze you're describing are called disjoint mazes

The first puzzle was nice, there was actually a pattern to the place you were teleported to: everytime you stepped on a pressure plate, you would end up at a platform 2 platforms away from the one you were before, pretty clever.

Honestly, I thought in the last "Spot the Difference" puzzle that it was TNT, because you *don't* need redstone to craft TNT and the other three redstone blocks you *do* need redstone to craft.
For the noteblock, you need redstone to craft. For a dispenser, you need redstone to craft. For redstone blocks, you need redstone to craft. The TNT just needs gunpowder and sand

I'm not ashamed to say that I spent a decent portion of time screaming at my computer for the TH-camrs to follow the rainbow.
It amazes me that they didn’t catch onto the color thing earlier? That was my first though, and it’s just amazing to me how people brains work so differently

I thought the odd one out was the wood log too, but not because you cant make a mob out of it, but because you can place it in different ways to change the direction of the texture, but the others look the same, no matter how you place them
That is also a good one.
The teleport one I actually understand. Whatever pressure plate you go to, you go three in that direction. The blocks are just too confuse you. If your 2 away from the edge, you go to the next row or column, then one up or down.

Dude for the "pick the door" my brain was going "well, dispensers make noise when u activate them, so does note block, and so does tnt, but Redstone doesn't" when it was legit just "haha redstone activate, the others get activated."

I think the colour maze shows the difference in everyone’s personality. Some people think close minded and logical while others think outside the box and creative. I literally could not for the life of me figure out the rainbow thing even though I know the colours of the rainbow. Other people in the comments are saying how they figured it out right away but I even paused the video at times to think and could not figure it out. I probably would have done what skeppy did.
Fun fact: The "always go left/right" guide to getting out of a maze won't always work if the entrance is *inside* the maze, as opposed to having the starting point located on the outer edge.
Other fun fact: Infrared and ultraviolet are named for the colors that they border on the spectrum of visible light.

1.) Soul sand is the only thing there that is found in the nether
2.) Soul sand is the only one there that cant be crafted into more items (snow - snowballs, iron block - iron ingots, oak log - oak planks
3.) Soul sand was the only thing that had an effect to it - slowness when walked on
Personally, I think the builders should've spent more time on this section

Another thing about the snow block, soul sand, iron block and log one is that iron blocks are the only one that can be crafted
I notice another thing for the multiple choice for the ores…. All of the colors except gold has cool colors ( gold is yellow which is hot color)

1) snow-the only one that drops more then one thing
2)soulsand-only one from nether
3)iron block-the only one you can NOT find without crafting it

the best stratagy for a maze is always go forwards so you will not lose the way to the start
Reasoning for choosing soulsand: The other 3 you can turn into more items/things. Snow = 4 Snowballs - Wood = 4 planks - Iron block = 9 Ingots - Soul sand - Nothing.
at the spot the difference puzzle, he could have used “odd one out” instead of spot the difference. It makes things less confusing because Preston was looking for a difference instead of picking one that was the odd one out
What stood out about wood? That had me confused.
Nightmare u can use iron blocks, soulsand and snow blocks to spawn mobs like iron golem but wood can’t
