    What was the logic behind finishing the wood before the final glue up? Also, could you post a link or give the name for the magnet connectors you used?

      It took about a month working on and off. Working straight through it for a client would take about a week!

    What's the metal stock you used for the inset magnet bar? Just steel from the yard shined and polished? Cheers

    I love your wood idea but as someone who does a lot of wood for the Renaissance fairs n such knows that wood gets heavy to carry it around a lot. I'm custom making a DM screen using leather like a leather book with custom artwork carved into the leather, starting with my family coat of arms on the main front panel and for my hinges leather straps carved to look like rot iron as the panels all fold in on themselves.
    Plus not everyone has the space or can afford the fancy wood working tools like a router, large table saw, etc.
