Short test clip of Klipsch RP-8000F-II playing loud. Just a few dB under microphone clipping, but with A LOT of headroom left. Soun is "Make us stronger" with Ghostrider
@@xaerothehero You(& i) have beautiful hardwood floors but they are horrible for sound. I unfortunately have an 85 yr old downstairs neighbor who can be tin foil hatty
@@o.c.g.m9426 I have carpets on the first and 2nd reflective spot on the floor, and I have sound panels in the ceiling. I also run room correction DSP (Dirac Live), so my hardwood floors isn't a problem.
Hello and thanks for stopping by! I use this setup as a stand alone 2.0 music system. For that I use a Bluesound Node X as the music source and pre-amp, connected to a 2x600 watt Audiophonics HPA-S600NCX power amp.
I would pick Klipsch RP-8000F-II over Vestlyd v15c any day in the week for everything. RP-8000F-II is just a whole other league compared to Vestlyd v15c.
Hello and thanks for stopping by! I feel this question is very much down to preference. I currently do not use a subwoofer for these, and I don't think it's needed for the physical experience as they do move alot of air. How ever, if you looking to fill out the sound below 30Hz, I would recommend a subwoofer.
I personally don't feel that way. In my room I get 35Hz at -3dB, and 30Hz at about -6dB. I have a BIG listening room, and I don't feel the need for any subwoofer at all.
These are pretty easy to power, but to play really loud I recommend 100+ watt. It's hard for me to recommend something. I don't know what you like. Personally I run these with an AUDIOPHONICS HPA-S600NCX Power Amplifier. But for that you need some sort of pre-amp.
Hello! The 8060FA is the same speakers but with Atmos modules ontop. If you want pure 2 channel you go for 8000F. The 8060FA are home cinema towers, and require a home cinema amp to work properly.
@xaerothehero ok thank you for the reply I have a denon AVR-X1700H with a pair jbl stage A190 and was thinking about switching them with the klipsch and keep 1 jbl and have 3 floorstanding if that was possible
I haven't tried them with a Denon. But in general I don't like the Denon amplifiers. They have a lot of noise and hiss. I think you can bet much better amp for the money.
the receiver is better, Denon or Marantz, in addition, the room is not acoustic, the sounds are very loud, if there is an acoustic room, the klipsch sounds well, mainly mid bass
@@xaerothehero are you kidding my friend??)) why do people who spend 100000$ for a movie theater make their rooms acoustic?? klipsch sounds harsh check it in an acoustic room when it comes to live music it will sound completely different if your Receiver is not a processor like Jbl Synthesis sdp-55 or Trinnov it doesn't make sense
@@leatijoseph828 Here's the thing my friend, I HAVE a dedicated sound treated room ALSO. A room that is totally sound dead, with no windows, raised floor, acoustic ceiling and walls. But what you are watching right now in this video is my living room. It's a social room where I bring friends and have parties. This room does NOT need sound treatment. All sound treatment in this room is done with Dirac Live DSP. Also, as you can see on the cabinet in this video, I do not use a "receiver". This is custom high end power amp with a Node X pre-amp and a Dirac Live DSP behind the amp.
Sounds great! I'm impressed.
Its exactly these sorts of sounds that klipsch speakers excel at
Man, I love this sound. powerful and clear sound
Sounds awesome. I got gen 1 in piano black amazing speakers
Literally same here!!!
I just played that song through my system! Great dynamics on every level.
Мне очень нравится звук, который воспроизводят эти акустические системы!🤩🤩🤩 Это огонь 🔥
Yeah they are pretty great. Thanks for the comment!
Awesome
What a nice house
Nice :)
What song is that? By the way it sounds awesome! 😁

Those downstairs neighbors are going to be pissed 😂. I got me 2 sound addicted sound pads from Amazon for my towers.
Fortunatley I live in a stand alone house on the country side. But yes, pads or sound care super spikes help.

How are the mods wkth these sleakers ?.and are the highs still hary and fatiguing?
Hello! No, not even a little. These are probably the most refined Klipsch I have ever heard. All the changes they made has been huge improvements.

Do you feel you need a subwoofer or they have good bass?
I’m between those or the bookshelf with a subwoofer
