I am one of his Patrons and I have to say he is like this all the time, generally very happy and funny. Besides being one of the most gifted guitarists on the planet he is one of the nicest people I’ve ever come across, just an all around great guy. It’s good to see him getting more exposure. He so deserves it.
Towards the end of the interview when Marcin talks about the percussive fingerstyle player community he mentions Michael Hedges. I went to highschool with Michael and was in the highschool band with him. I was a huge fan of his throughout his career but I have to say I have become just as big a fan of Marcin. Marcin is an incredible player and I can't compare the two. To me Marcin is equally as great.
Regarding the collab with Tim Henson, in the latest interview with Rick Beato, Tim said he's learning flamenco from Marcin: th-cam.com/video/T6SyM0Kw6GA/w-d-xo.html Starts at 1:06:46. There has to be a collab too at some point. What a dream come true would that be! Cannot wait.
