I think brands tend to make men's things so basic and I think sticking to typical "male" tropes like bulldog for a moisturiser and making things smell like musk or some body spray type smells is a real shame for them. Like it's 2024, let's have the blokes get access to nicer things and not faint if something smells flowery. The amount of sample sizes as well makes me really glad I didn't pick this up.I do think it would be nice to give a leaflet with a basic explanation of skin care for the men who were never taught how to do that would be really helpful too.
Karen, I love Dan's comment on the This Works product. My ex-husband (his choice) would have bought that product by the case to get me to calm down! lol Dan is now bougie since Elemis. Me too since your lovely Karen introduced the 2023 Elemis Advent Calendar. I'm hooked. Loved this video and both your comments. I ordered this one by mistake thinking it was the beauty calendar 🤦🏼♀️ I didn't look too closely cuz I didn't want to see the spoilers and I only realised when I saw your video! Worked out well for my boyfriend cuz I'll be giving it to him 😂
I received this for my son this morning. I'm disappointed in some of the tiny sizes but I'm sure he'll enjoy it. I'm also sure he will give me the elemis pcm face wash 😁
I wouldnt buy for my partner. He wouldnt use non masculine scents or lip products. Why not give a full face regime in mens products and scents. Cleanser, toner, serum, Moisturiser, night cream, shaving cream/beard creams, male aftershave, there are alot of good products out there. Could also include eye mask, eye cream, good shampoos, shower gels and hair products. I think i may make one myself for him x

Issey Miyake is a a well known brand actually, a designer but not high street popular...if you know you know...sadly he’s dead now I think his scent is pretty good both Male and Female I’m glad you reviewed this, I was going to buy this for my bf Great input from both especially Dan as after all is for guys I’d still buy it but anything he doesn’t like I’ll have Reasonable price for what is worth I think the hair scalp is out of place what if the guy is bald? Overall great review, honest and unbiased, made good points
I found most of this calendar great for myself 😂 so, we will just share , I suppose. Indeed, some of the products are not really the ones some men would use and they have a very feminine smell to them as well. But it is a good one to share between both of us
To add, I think they kinda played it safe probably is not popular or common perhaps for men to buy advent calendar so products are not as high value as say, for women or as exciting Tbf men are straight forward they don’t really attention to ingredients or benefits like we do...though that from my experience lol Overall is nice they made an option to men at all xx
