  • This film showcases the importance of regenerative agriculture in mitigating the negative effects of climate change in vulnerable African countries.
The Global EverGreening Alliance's Restore Africa program is effectively improving lives in Africa and restoring landscapes. With Climate Asset Management aimed at restoring over 1.8 million hectares and supporting 1.5 million farming families in six African countries. Communities receive carbon credits with added benefits for their restoration efforts. Additionally, the program is focused on the improvement of livelihoods.
During the production of this film, we were exposed to farmers in Uganda working tirelessly to sustain themselves through agriculture. Support from the Restore Africa program has extensively transformed their lives. Farmers are trained and educated to restore their land while getting the best from it to be able to make a living. Farmers also share how important maintaining a healthy environment is for future generations. They share that their dedication to ensuring a thriving ecosystem gives them confidence and hopes for a greener world.
Supporting such initiatives can extend the impact, improve more lives, and stretch the reach of restoration efforts

Excellent video. All those farms look well kept, and the soil looks rich. Im going to follow the examples shown here by incorporating more nitrogen fixing trees in the midst of my short term crops.
