Thank you, Dr. Abramson, for posting your Lectures and personal videos, here on TH-cam. What a blessing, and treat, they are. They're most lively, participatory and informative.
I look forward to receiving your books, I ordered.
And you're Canadian too! It explains the wonderful sense of humour and charisma!
    Cheers! G-d Bless!

I love learning about Rabbi Moshe Cordovero, especially because I actually took a class with Dr. Abramson on Tomer Devorah so every time I learn about this topic I always learn something new. Something that I was interested in was the renewal of Semikhah under Rabbi Yaakov Berav and how he passed on his authority to his student Joshua by laying his hands on his head. Joshua then would pass it on to his students and those students would pass it on to their students and like this the pattern continued. I like tradition and I felt this process was very traditional and the fact that it stopped was disappointing but then it started up again years later.

Please would you explain how the volumes on the Pardes Remomin works? I would like to
Obtain the series of these books too. Thank you.

in spanish the stress always falls on the last syllable unless the word end with a vowel, "s" or "n," in which case the stress is on the second to last. so it's pronounced "cordoVEro." if however, there is a vowel marked with an accent mark (á é í ó ú), these rules do not apply. the syllable containing the marked vowel is stressed.

I found this lecture on Kabbalah to be very interesting. I side with the Ashkenazi tradition of only having learned people, over 40 learn Kabbalah. Kabbalah is full of difficult mysticism that only qualified people should be learning because it can cause people to have a very skewed, incorrect view and approach to Judaism.
