Clerics Don't Have Ranged Damage? Explosive Bottles. | Bard and Cleric Gameplay | Dark and Darker

Hey guys,
Here are more highlights from my Twitch stream while playing Dark and Darker. I was REALLY struggling to do anything with my bard on Friday, maybe I'm just getting worse at the game (washed)? Or perhaps the game is just in a big PDR/sustain meta, and I need to embrace it fully. Anyway, here's the PVP and some other fun moments. I hope you enjoy the Bard/Cleric gameplay. If you have Divine Strike active, Drums will apply the Faithfulness debuff to enemies. Judgement also double stacks with Faithfulness. Faithfulness abuse is the best way to play Cleric since the slow makes it much easier to close the gap.

Yepp! I’ve been running smite mostly instead of judgement, but both work. If drums work with divine strike, that’s awesome. I’ll test that some more :)

its is not abuse, it is literally the devs intended mechanic.. cleric is one of the most nerfed and shit on classes since day 1, so many nerfs.. zero ranged we need to be able to chase down pvp without always having to go 300+ move speed. Cleric is NOT an OP class and literally nothing has changed about it since last season yet somehow everyone is pissing their pants about clerics ..wtf.

@@tjhookertj6923 Cleric didn’t change, but the game as a whole did to make it easier to be close to MS cap without movement abilities. Which makes clerics much stronger as the only class without one of those. And cleric isn’t OP, but it is one of the strongest classes in all game modes currently.
Also a lot of people use “abuse” as the idea of something being a core mechanic in a game. Basically every Bard “abuses” shriek of weakness, and fighters “abuse” second wind.
All classes abuse (or overuse) something because it’s the best part of their kit. For clerics that’s faithfulness, perseverance and PFE. Because if you don’t take those it’s a giant nerf to the class.

@@tjhookertj6923you are not correct at all. Cleric having heals alone has made them the best trios class since day one.
