"Fool Me Again" he is with a few other people on stage (I think on a cruise ship) and he is leaning over in a chair and just kills that song. This performance reminds me of '60s/'70s R&B. I am an avid fan of Chris and R & B. Chris and the orchestra is LUSH. R&B songs from when I was growing up were that way. I am also an AVID fan of Southern Rock. The C & W world may have claimed him but give a listen to his homage to The Allman Bros. "Whipping Post" Chris combines soul, the blues, sprinkles some country and R & R. He is one of a kind.

Talent beyond belief and what’s crazy is he is very shy and has performance anxiety. That’s why his beautiful wife Morgane is with him on stage most of the time. She was in the audience for this one. (Notice how Chris rarely look out at the audience but is in his own creative world while performing.) Keep going down the rabbit hole. 👍🏼🤠 You really need to dive back in his early days with The SteelDrivers a bluegrass band, he not only was lead singer but wrote most of their songs with Mike Henderson. “Sticks That Make Thunder” depicts a Civil War battle through the eyes of a witness tree. “Can You Run” tells the story of runaway slaves during the American Civil War and “If it hadn’t been for Love” are worth a listen.
