Criminally underrated album
its kinda funny becuse this is the album the band like the least, but i reaily love it. (the only album they dislike more is Iowa)
It's underrated because it was recorded in a short time and a lot of it felt like a checklist of what makes a slipknot album a slipknot album. It isn't a bad album by any means, there just isn't much there. All the other albums had a conflict that gave it life, this album was just there and didn't really do much to add to what slipknot is about. But that being said I really liked the instrumentals on this album, the first track was so killer and don't even get me started on "wherein lies continue". Dig what you dig but I think that album was underrated for a reason.

In De Naam Van De Duivel by Carach Angren. They're a symphonic black metal band that writes their albums as horror stories. Every album is a consent album but this one works as a stand alone song. Think you guys will love em.
In De Naam Van De Duivel is dutch for In the name of the devil. The song is in english except the one line and don't worry it's not satanic enough for the blackfire. Think you guys'll enjoy the story. Also Carach Angren is elvish for Iron Jaws and is names after a pair of towers in Mordor.
And Babel's Gate by Septic Flesh. Symphonic Death metal and you'd get a kick out of the lyrics.
Also you guys need to do the whole of Damnation And A Day by Cradle Of Filth. Best Cradle album in my opinion and the album tells the story of Satan before his fall all the way to his defeat. Seeing how you guys dissect this stuff is amazing.
I believe back when this album was being written, there was some flooding going on here in Iowa. So maybe that played a role in the lyric "the rain will kill us all".
Appreciate your dedication in doing this at 11:30PM! I would recommend you show some official videos for songs since the bands made them with the song in mind. You can always pull up lyrics on a separate screen. IMO it would make the channel even more popular.

Soilwork needs to be done. Hardly any reaction channel does Soilwork. Bjorn is the best and most versatile singer in metal besides Devin Townsend. I would start with Let This River Flow, Whirl of Pain, or Father and Son Watching the World go Down. They are by far the best all around band in metal with the best mix of melodic and heavy.
I would dig that. Maybe Strangler from Figure Number Five. I know a lot of people hate that album, but it has some great songs.
I'm picking songs to show the range of Bjorn's vocals and the band in general. Those aren't the most accessible songs showing the range the band does. Tongue, Distance, Whispers and Lights, Death in General, etc.
His voice is great! I love the Stabbing the Drama album!
I would be down for a Soilwork reaction. They need to do Dark Tranquillity at some point, too.
Bjørn is an awesome singer! But even he can't compete with Christian Älvestam from Solution 45, Svavelvinter and Scar symmetry in my opinion. Svavelvinter's new album is a true mastepiece. Check it out
