Designing Safer Lorries for Cyclists - London's Direct Vision Standard Fixes HGV Blind Spots

Tom Bogdanowicz of London Cycling Campaign explains how we're making lorry designs safer for cyclists.
By changing the design of HGVs to give drivers the best possible vision out of the cab, we're reducing lorry blind spots. Data from Transport for London shows that the number of serious or fatal collisions in London due to lorry blind spots has been reduced.

The most dangerous is the cyclists own attitude.
Watch the videos on TH-cam of the cyclists going up the inside of lorry’s as the lorry is turning.

"The hierarchy does not remove the need for everyone to behave responsibly."
there are rules that apply to the cyclists and they fail to follow them, but then try to blame the vehicles that did nothing wrong.
plenty of videos on youtube that show the errors of the cyclists.
