Just a quick question - I am looking to join my local club, I stopped playing cricket 3 years ago at 13 due to a run of injuries and being dropped from my team - I will be playing for the mens team, how fast can I expect the balls to be?
I played at fern down a few weeks ago and played on the furthest pitch towards the woods (furthest from the pavilion) and I mean this pitch took spitting from a length to a whole new level, I got multiple deliveries coming from a full ball that would bounce viciously at my skull 💀 horrible pitch

what age group are you at because unless it 75 plus you don't need to worry (cant give you any tips though as a pace bowler who cant bat)
I’m U12s so I’m just getting to the phase where bowlers are starting to bowl 60+ including me
@@zach4932 60 at u12 is insane im 15 and bowl 55 and the quickest ive seen at my age group is 65
