Old buses sound much better and purposeful than the tirade of Volvos we have today. The first buses round Leeds sound horrinle, though the fans make a lot of the noise.
The leyland leopard did not have a V8 engine it is a 6 cylinder 11.1 Leyland engine also known a the Leyland 680 which was a mid underslung engine and was a very good reliable engine
Love the old Plaxton Supreme body and dash layout, they truly were the best Coach Body builders back in the day

It always seems odd that round town you manage to get into top gear when the same gear had to get you to motorway speed for coaches.
