When I "learned" sitting bucks, it really helped me to put a hand on the saddle (u can hold on or just put it there), and then try to sit the bicks/stop the horse Idk if that helps
I k ow but some horses bucks are diffrent form other horses from my horses bucks are comfy but my friends horse buck are a lot harsher it takes practice to sit a buck

Quirks or quirky is just a way to describe how they skipped steps in training the horse. And instead of taking responsibility, they blame the horse for it..

So yeah, many off those bucks, can be caused by stomach ulcers, and when they're moving around on an empty stomach, the stomach acid bounces around and stings in the ulcers.. The problem is that trainers still blames the horse, and tell you to show who's boss, or just ride/push them through it.. Instead of checking if there are any underlying issues.

A horse reacts within milliseconds otherwise it would be dead. They do not possess the same frontal lobe humans have for processing information and thinking. They act then once the immediate danger is gone they stop to think. (Which is why my horse was able to successfully land a buck kick to my ribs last week, he acted instantly and my brain couldn't process the speed of what was happening until after it had happened) one could say that instance the kick was out of nowhere because he has never acted like that before. (Long story short, he wanted to eat grass while I was going to lunge him outside, I told him now he spun around to told me to f*ck off) instant reaction from me, I never saw it coming.
Dressage isn't the problem. It's the horse. Dressage itself depending on level is very safe. The higher levels with more complex mores (such as extended canter and the piroettes) may have some added danger.. But intro is completely safe if your horse isn't a twat.
No level of riding is 100 percent safe when you get in the saddle of a horse you are putting all your trust into your horse and should not have any doubts or you will have a hard time

Equestrian accidents are extremely dangerous and are not something to laugh at. My riding teacher got kicked in the head by a horse and the doctor said she was 'lucky to live'. My mom god kicked in the thigh by a horse and had a bruise all along her leg for the next month. The horse can also be seriously injured by these things. My horse had an accident when he was young and may never be able to be ridden again. Just letting you know that you should probably stop laughing and start taking these things more seriously.
Oh honey - WE ARE RIDERS TOO! We KNOW it's dangerous as hell! I have seen horrific things happen in and out of the arena. A little girl getting kicked in her face, losing eyesight and brain function. Myself breaking bones when I was a preteen. An elderly woman having her finger bit off. Cross country riders getting killed. But all this makes this video no less fun. I'm watching this video with completely bruised legs, because my horse dragged me through a too narrow gate yesterday. Hurt like hell. We KNOW it's dangerous, but we do it anyway because we love our horses, so watching videos like this keep us sane. And the best way to deal with falling off (if no serious injuries) is to laugh and try again - to gain the confidence and calmness to get up on the horse again :) I would highly recommend you check out "ShitEventersUnited". Spending an hour on that might get that stick out of your bum.
Make him hold his head up he can't buck if his head is up so if you think that he is bout to buck hold one hand up and the other down this keeps his head up

Yesterday my horse took off out of the arena and i fell off on the driveway and got drug through the gravel and i have bad road rash on my back and elbow
I was quite impressed with myself on my old horse. He used to rodeo buck all up the school until I came off. It came out of nowhere at any time. He was going nice then suddenly he started.. I usually sat 3 or 4 of them because I just bailed. .. That horse was much as I loved him, he completely crushed my confidence to the point I was petrified to get on any other horse even ones I knew were safe.. I eventually forced myself to get back on other horses (he was sold by this point) and even now with my new horse I still curl up like a fetus waiting for something bad to happen.

Most horses that consistently buck do it because of discomfort, your horse doesn't buck because he has an owner that keeps him happy and comfortable
