- Such a beautiful song. Chris' voice on this song sounds so soft and gentle and some how soothing. like a father singing a lullaby to his child. I have listened to it again and again during the editing process and have grown to live it more and more. I love singing along with him. I hope you can grow to like this song as much as I now do or maybe even more.

I think you may be missing the gist of the song.(?) It's about an old flame that has moved on from their relationship, but he still has feelings for. When he says "what are you listening too" he's wondering if she's out having fun, sad like him, or if she's found a new love.

💯 Hi from Charlotte, NC, USA! NOBODY else sounds like Chris Stapleton! You should listen to ALL his stuff! I love his Southern Rock days when he was with The Jompson Brothers ("Inside Your Head")! Check out his acoustic version of "Barely Alive"! It's amazing! He was also with a bluegrass band The SteelDrivers for a while. Check out his "Fool Me Again" from a songwriters cruise in 2006 for a "taste" of his younger style. His latest album, Starting Over, is amazing! Listen/react to "Cold"!? It's absolutely incredible!
