Standard Response Protocols

In GCISD, the safety and security of our students and staff are our top priority. We have partnered with the I Love You Guys Foundation to implement Standard Response Protocols, or as we called them, SRPs, that are used in emergency situations.
The five SPRs that we use from the I Love You Guys Foundation are Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, Hold, and Shelter. As a district, we felt the need to add an additional SRP that we have named Clear or Clear the Classroom. We have invited members of the GCISD Community to help explain each of these protocols and how they are involved in their implementation. Additionally, we have some information regarding our reunification procedures should that be necessary.
