So there's no way to add a lock on the apps already existing on my home page. I added my mailing app but it's still fully accessible on home as well.

Hi..thank you for your great video. I have two colournote on my new phone. One in secure folder, and one in the main icon screen. How do I transfer all my notes, into the one thats inside the secure folder please? That one is currently empty...I have tried to sync them both, so then I can delete the one on my home screen, as I do not need 2 and I really want it safe...but it doesn't work.

I had a folder on my last phone, which then got broken, and had to be fixed before I could access it...which meant the people that fixed it had access to personal info. Really dont want that happening again. 😊

Informative vid! I have a question that i need your advice. I like to install some apps from non-official sources such as Aptoide, but at the same time I'm concerned with the app permissions that these apps need in order to function. In this case, if I install these non-official apps on Secure Folder, would I be protected from these apps stealing confidential data that are within my primary/default folder?
The equivalent of Secure Folder for Huawei is the PrivateSpace and the PrivateSpace is able to achieve what I need as described above, not sure if the Secure Folder is able to provide the same. Thank you.
I have my secondary non facebook messenger account on my galaxy tab s6 in secure folder I haven't got any calls yet do i still get calls if i lock it and reopen it or you need it unlocked to get calls inside secure folder?

Ok, you've actually covered the most intuitive but... why I can't add more Samsung apps to the Secure Folder aside from the default ones?... Why when I hit "Add" only Google and third party apps from the Play Store show to choose?... And why when I search for "Apps" inside the Secure Folder, every single app in there is under the Secure Folder icon, yet not every single app shows inside the Secure Folder?... I can't find a word about these questions in any related video I watched.

So this only protects against someone who has physical access to device? Thats what pin and passcode is for anyway? What about if you were hacked?

You can add the app to Secure Folder and uninstall from the main app drawer. You will have a copy in secure folder

No as micro SD card have different kind of security than with Integrated storage!

Ok, I cannot see/find/open my secure folder. I created one, and put photos in it, yet when I hit the app in the drawer, go through Pass and use fingerprints, or to biometrics and security they all just show me the settings for the app, and not the contents. You can't...secure folder files can and only will be on the internal storage to prevent data stealing from the sd card

I'm trying to transfer my Pictures from my internal storage to my SD card when I hit the 3 dots at the top right in "my files" it says move to secure folder however I do not see move to SD card. my intention is not to move to my secure folder but to move to my SD card but I see no option for that.
Hey,select files,select "move" after that,go back and press on sd card and press "move here" i hope it helped!
I did use it for a while, but found, over time, it stopped the phone working properly. Play Store stopped working, any app duplicated in the secure folder stopped relaying notifications properly, I had to constantly erase the cache partition, and eventually I had to uninstall the secure folder entirely to get the phone to work at all.

Just open your secure folder.
Go to settings (three dots upper right corner) . Under settings in "General" tap "More Settings" then tap "Uninstall".

How remove apps from secure folder
We can bypass the Knox security in Samsung. Recently, my secure folder got locked in no reason. Before that never linked the secure folder with Samsung account and didn't add bio-metric to unlock it. The only option I was having is to enter correct pw for every 24 hrs. When I went to service center and called customer care to get it unlocked. They said it can't be unlocked without password. But I never gave up and didn't uninstall because the data inside the folder is everything to me. After various tests and trails, I've bypassed the Secure folder security and unlocked without password.
