I've seen too much of these idols, I've seen their struggles and it feels like it's more than enough already, I could be watching other rookies that I have yet to learn something from/about. With SM however we only get to see the trainees after they've proven themselves more than enough and there's already some sort of plan for them (even though it could take a while between their introduction as a rookie and their actual debut) and we don't get bombarded with their past or seeing their struggles until much later when the artists themselves share those stories like anecdotes and it doesn't feel as invasive. There's always something new we can learn from/about an SM artist because we don't know that much of them before they get to their proper debut, if anything we have pictures but there's no context to them. I know we joke a lot about the basement and the trainees that are kept there, but all in all I'm glad they do that. Not many idols get to see their debut stages where their only regret is the styling.

Showcasing one member over others is essential for groups to be successful in exposure. Anyone remember how much Exposure Kai, Yoona, Sulli, G Dragon, CL, Mino, B.I, L, Tablo etc got? A lot. It's a very common and the smartest way to market groups especially newer ones. ALL companies are guilty of this. No one will remember the whole group right off the bat so they take steps. In EVERY very successful group there is at least one person that the company markets the most.

But they need vocals so Doyoung and Taeil or something jaehyun is vocal but like another one.
this is a very strong dance line but sadly for a grup its not enough... jaehyun vocal cant carried the whole group, ten and yuta can sing but their vocal range arent as wide as the vocal line hence why they are subvocal&subrapper... johnny and hansol are definately a rapper along with TY.. soooo,,, maybe a dance unit plus doyoung? i mean doyoung can keep up with this 6 ppl cuz he's been covering for yuta when he cant perform this dance at smtown... so this unit still possible with addition of doyoung

wow i remember when this first was released, i got super excited about their concept lol.
Also, Taeyong really hasn't changed a bit lol. Even his style is pretty similar.
Eventhough taeyong is more charismatic and has aura when he performs/dances.
Ten has the passion and it makes me so happy to see him doing what he loves.
