Rain looks realistic, the environment is nice, that was a pretty heavy and hard rains to be splated, and i wouldn't sit down on the flood, it's wet and dirty. Anyway, the animation of rains look realistic good. And it pretty hard rains drop too.
Why is Inkopolis in the rain such a vibe I want to have a lobby toggle/option for it to just be raining. Less people in the square, and everyone walks around with a Brella. Like, yknow the comfy vibes of being inside your Minecraft house while it’s raining in-game? Same thing. Would add a lot of depth to the city areas as well imo

In truth, water DOES NOT kill or dissolve Inklings that only happens in the Turf Battles. They also splat and dissolve when they fall off a Turf map during battles. Otherwise water doesn't hurt them at all, they came from water, they eat and drink foods that contain water, the very air would kill them as well. The official manga says and shows that Inklings, especially the teens, can't swim well and they sink which i believe is due to them not having full control of their bodies.
