I definitely relate x My father was not ever present in my life and all my life , it really made me feel like I was abandoned, so I would find ways to bring him back into my life. Whether it was school related or when I went through mental health issues. It took a toll on me and I decided to give up on forming any kind of relationship with him... Because it felt like I was chasing him. Kante I was being consumed with even more hatred towards him and the other gender. Just when I thought I knew what I was doing, God made me realize, that no matter how hard I try to cut this man out my life or be this 'bad bitch'... He'll forever stay my father. I can't give up on him the way he gave up on me. I am in a space where feeling bitter and angry is just not the energy meant for me. Whilst all of this is happening, my dad starts to reach out to me and I welcomed him with open arms. The best decision I had ever made. God is great ❤️
