- Installing @HorsepowerIncPA performance exhaust on my @harleydavidson Lowirder ST.
Removing stock cam cover and installing @RolandSandsDesign Sector collection cam cover. This was the last piece installed on the full sector collection. The install is much easier with 2 people. Hope you guys enjoy.

The muffler clamp looks loose
Appreciate the heads up brotha. Yeah one of the pieces didn't seed in, I noticed it after I finished recording. I've adjusted it and it's perfect now. The thumbnail photo is with it properly clamped on.

@@HardTail-LA Good stuff, looks nice and sounds good brother. I got an SPC cutback 2 in 1 on my ST and I love it. Stainless exhausts look so good on these bikes.
The spc is a badass pipe, I love the way it looks. How long did you have to wait for it ?

How long have you had it ? Any issues or has it been running smooth ?
@@HardTail-LA I had it installed when I did my 1000 mile service, runs great, a lot of low end torque with a very early close at 25 degrees, great throtle response, another guy on TH-cam, Holy Shift just had it installed on his bike and the guy at his shop talked about the difference between the 475 and the 30 / 30, you may want to check out that video, has a great "lope" as well, George Bryce of Star Racing knows his stuff, ride safe, love the pipe!!
@@HardTail-LA a couple of other things I did was an S+S oil pump, cam plate, lifters and an aluminum 55mm manifold intake, gotta get rid of the plastic one, as you may already know, the M8 motors produce a lot of pressure in the crankcase, so, I installed the Trask Checkm8 top cover, you have to relieve that pressure, you can use your stock valve springs with the 475 or the 30 / 30
Hope your using a tuner and if so which one? And is the caliper supposed to be that loose?? Looks good.

That clamp doesn’t look right.. am I missing something? Shouldn’t it be tightened all the way around
Hey Benjamin , yeah it was loose . After I filmed I tightened it all the way. The thumbnail pic is with it fully tightened. Thanks for looking out.

@@HardTail-LA Both actually you have a unique build on this bike and don't really hear a lot of bikes with the HPI exhaust.
@@racex3721 Appreciate the kind words and the suggestions. I think out of my 30 videos only 4 have riding in it. I definitely need to do more riding videos ! The hpi exhaust sound is a video I’m actually going to do real soon. I appreciate you supporting the channel as well. I’m currently trying to figure out if I should do TH-cam full time, so all the support and feedback helps.

I put an HPI on my lowrider ST also and tuning it is one of the most important things that has to be done. ASAP. If you care about that motor anyways.it’s not just sounds. Plus you can always flash the original map back to the bike.

Had dealer install Bassani Road Rage 3 on my LrS. Lot less than the HPI ($900) and available immediately. Stainless steel pipes get mixed reviews for sure. I love them especially on this bike with the bronze wheels. Cost $1000 more at the dealer for the tuner and auto tuner which was needed to retain my warranty. Those HPI's look like they would get really hot. The RR3 have some protection and I still managed to burn my leg.
Hey Don !! Congrats on the exhaust. Bassani rr3 are great. I appreciate the compliment , I really like the look of the hpi as well. Surprisingly they don’t get really hot to the point where it burns my leg. I think it’s because I have forward controls and my legs and feet are not right next to the pipe.

@@danphan434 the Lowrider st is already tuned from the harley factory. It says it on Harley website. So no you don’t need tuner if putting on new exhaust.(my opinion)

@@HardTail-LAit was factory tuned to the factory exhaust though. I think if you could get it tuned it probably sound more bad ass

@HardTail It was sns 475 until I heard sandy from Holy shifts low rider st in gunship grey get the 3030 woth a sawiki pipe, similar to the hpi pipe, and it sounds pretty damn amazing. So the 3030 has a 485 lift, the sns obviously a 474 lift...the max you can go is a 50p lift on the m8 117 before needing springs. Do what you like man, but don't use sns lifters cause they fail.

Looks awesome, but how did the muffler look after it did the big bounce and roll down the highway because you didn’t tighten that muffler clamp!!!!!that had to of really ruined your bro, hope ya tightened it before you took off…..

Sounds and looks good. Pull the plugs after 500 miles or so, see if it's lean.
