These players are not the same players they had over the last two years. There’s no leaders on this team. They’re not nearly as talented as what everyone believed.
They aren’t good bc they can’t recruit high school players. They screw around in the portal and don’t start freshman. Farmer, Lundy Peyton should enjoy their nil bc they aren’t getting nothing next year. A bunch of role players getting paid like superstars
It wouldn’t hurt to get rid of that garbage coming from the PA system and return completely to a traditional Seminole Gameday experience. A DJ and sponsored ads are not needed nor wanted by fans who spend a great deal of money to attend these games and support FSU.
indeed brother. its pretty evident the issue right now is not talent or want to, but rather a mentality issue. They are pressing and need to instead do their part. They'll be fine.
High school recruiting has gone pretty well actually the past few years, the problem is that all the elite HS guys are still freshmen and sophomores and the other ones keep hitting the portal. We have a leadership problem and you can't bring in guys from the portal and expect them to be leaders right off the jump. The lack of player retention and development in the homegrown players is what is concerning to me. They commit to FSU and start getting developed but they all transfer out a year or two later so we are always stuck having to find portal guys to fill the gaps. We need to be able to retain the homegrown players so half the team isn't made up of portal transfers.
Verse , Johnson were leaders from day 1..had that charisma and backed it up with play...both xfers...problem is coaching..up to the coaches to motivate Lamborghini driving VIPs...thats where the coaches need to step in..in the nfl a contract player of 2 mil playing like mun wage would get benched for the hungrier player...2 games is enough time on a 1 yr rental player not giving effort...

It’s embarrassing how 4 and 5 stars sit on the bench and play behind guys like Darion Williamson and the receivers we have out there. The staff is also trash at recruiting and I can name at least 3 just on defense that need to be fired after this season
Either the talent we have isn't as good or better than GT and BC or our coaching isn't as good as theirs!!!! We looked lost while our opponents looked like a well oiled machine!!!
What do you expect him to do come out and say man F these kids they are all garbage and sorry as hell....He has to keep coaching and motivating the team he can't just throw everybody under the bus and quit on the team.

He should’ve been made changes to the coaching staff cause these dudes are completely garbage. At recruiting and on the field coaching. Only thing that saved them was the talent last year. This is FSU, not Memphis or Arizona state. You won’t make it if you don’t get your hands dirty and be cut throat in recruiting and coaching changes
