Lovely van, I do like the rear lounge. Wanda is a Fiat 9 speed automatic and she is lovely to drive. I like the wardrobe work around but I’m not keen on the big tables in motorhomes. Thank you for showing us around. Take care Gill
that table was a bit too big and i don’t think it was removable, everyone is saying great things about that gearbox! Cant wait to get an automatic one day 👍😀
Wow 😮 Absolutely perfect, what a cracking layout, love the rear lounge and all so open and airy . Good price too . We just need a lottery win now but sure will happen 😂 If we win big will buy you and Kirsty one too xx
Lovely but too big for us. You sold us on the Devon XL and we still love it. Sadly we didn’t get to Pinewoods last week, we went to Hawes and Whitby in North Yorkshire and had a lovely time. Thanks for sharing another interesting video. Are you and Kirsty fancying something bigger?
hi sylv no we are not going back to bigger , but i did like the van , i’m sure i’ve seen a video on Hawes and Whitby , will have to have another look , Kirsty never wants to go back to pinewoods due to what happened with the dog and 3 years previous to that we was there when our staff got poorly , just coincidence but enough to put her off
@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel I think I would be the same. It just brings back the heartbreak. Thankfully there’s lots of other lovely places to visit in your doorstep.
We love our 9 speed auto Adria Twin, even I can drive Ralf!!!. 😂 We’ve both got auto cars so would hate to go back to manual. Get that A Class, you’d both love it!!. Great vid as always. Rach & Dave. 😊
thanks guys yes always hear good things about that gearbox. they say once you go automatic people are reluctant to go back to manual , hopefully that will be me ! 👍😀
Hello Mike, enjoyed the review of this Rapido, looks a really lovely motorhome. Liked the swing out shower, very light and loved the leather seating, take care x Julie and Tony x
@@gallivantinggalantes Hi guys yes i did like that one , amazing sitting in the cab of an A class , a totally different experience , such good visibility take care Mike & Kirsty x
@@chrissey663 Hi chrissey , seriously thinking of an auto in the next van ( whenever that may be ) everyone says that gearbox is great 👍, i loved the visibility sat in the cab
We've got that exact van Mike. Its our 4th motorhome and 1st A class and after waiting nearly 2 years for it because of the delivery delays, we absolutely love it.After 2 comfortmatics, the 9 speed with 160bhp is a delight. Its a brilliant spacious van for a couple.
@@GedandMichele hi guys i loved it , not a big motorhome at all some advertise it as 6.9 Meters whilst others have said its 6.7 Meters , not much longer than ours , either way it was definitely nice , still keep the rear lounge but gain a garage and another bed , not ready to change yet but it would be a short list contender 👍😀
Looking at the comments Mike everybody likes their autos, I want one 🤣 Rear lounge french van that’s unusual 😊 had 3 A class vans Carthago Adria n pilote lovely but take up so much road, I used to drive everywhere with clenched buttocks especially with wagons thundering towards you had a mirror and mount taken off like that in Somerset £400 for new one 😢 glad I got my globetrail now. Nice van though mate they are always impressive, …. Pete🇫🇷
Hi pete yeah certainly less stressful in a van conversion , i did admire the visibility in that A class , and it wasn’t really that big although it did feel huge sitting in that cab , but i did like it , especially the garage , small compared to other garages but the van was 6.7 M so they did well to fit all that in there really 👍😀
@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel always drove our A class vans with trepidation that the windscreen would need replacing always covered on the insurance but the screen people just pop out and get one sometimes have to wait weeks, lot less stressful in ours, ours is in for its 1st hab check Thursday 5 year warranty as long as I get it done by a Dethleffs dealership €180. ….. From our experience of Rapido, and I’m only speaking from our experience , build quality is far inferior to German makes such as Carthago and Hymer. We were dazzled by the leather look upholstery etc but in practice it was a bad move and after sales service from the dealer and Rapido itself were very poor.
interesting to know , thanks for the info re after sales and rapido themselves , i’ve heard all the horror stories over the years and can only feel for the unfortunate , we invest heavily in these leisure vehicles and ask little back , all we want is some good memories and a bit of help when we need it if they were ever to go wrong at anytime
We have a 9 speed box in our cv40 love it👍
