Good advise from her father. Work hard. They gave up and they were greedy and mean . Karma got them. I am happy the father is doing well and happy with his daughter and family. Her husband finally gets it. With the love he is putting into his noodles! ❤️

Oldest son always takes care of the parents in these cultures. And it's her sister in law, not daughter in law.
Seems like the brother and SIL about killed the father. The daughter was unaware of the abuse her father was getting. Then regretted for not checking sooner. But was glad she took the father to her home when she found out. When you're so busy living your own life, you forget to check on others. So time passes by quickly before you even think about them.

Before watching, I thought dad was going to turn out to be a ramen aficionado/prodigy, but I liked this outcome better with no manual labor for dad. Personally I think he should have sold his house, since they got rid of all his possessions & split the proceeds between sister & brother! I wonder if SIL sold his books or threw them away? He was a teacher so his books probably were valuable/old. I don't think brother & SIL will be married much longer...

First Dad is alive but dies shortly after. Then he's alive again. Then he dies again. Then he's alive again! There is something DEFINITELY wrong with this picture! Due to that (as well as the poor narration) for me, this story leaves a WHOLE lot to be desired.
