Great video Jesse! I remember I bought my original Boba back in 1979 from a buddy who had 2 of them. I paid the exorbitant price of $5 back then! Trust me, back then figures were less than $2 and I was 10 at the time so I felt like he was ripping me off but I wanted that figure bad. I still don’t know how I got the money. Turned out to be a good deal in the long run and I still have him!

@@third.act.countdown I just remember them costing about $1.25 - $1.75 back in 1978 and then jumping up closer to $2.00 - 2.25 a few years later. I am old so things were just cheaper then.

4:16 my dad had a collection of star wars figurines from this brand, including that boba fett. Unfortunately, he let us play with them as kids despite them being collectors items. I still have the figure itself, but the blaster and cape have been lost, the antenna is partially snapped off, and somewhere down the line the yellow and blue jetpack got mixed up with this green empire strikes back jetpack, which I'm not even sure where we got that, since we only had the one figure

I have a 2010 bobba fett vintage collection figure but the cape that it haves is green not with the orange stripe and also the color of the chest is the same color as the helmet

Sounds like you have the ‘Revenge of the Jedi’ version, which itself is completely different to the Empire version of the figure. It was allocated the same VC number later in the line.
It’s a legit figure, just a different release. 👍🏻
