To be honest, this is one of the interviews na talagang tinapos ko na hindi ako na bored kahit nag-uusap lang sila. Napaka interesting ng bawat sagot ni Janus. Yung sagot na talagang may sense and somehow will give some realizations to the listeners. Ito yung tipo ng tao na masarap takbohan kung naghahanap ka ng makakausap.

As teacher who teaches people with special needs, he has learned to adapt and live with his condition. ADHD po is an developmental disability., so a lot of a person's aspect are affected. There are a lot of people, even adults, who are undiagnosed. Janus has managed to work around with his condition. He learned to overcome hurdles. He knows the value of true friends. Kudos to him. Not all people who have symptoms of ADHD are "developmental" disabled.
Developmental disability has impairment that affects the day to day functions and/or activities of daily living.
There are popular nurses, doctors, lawyers who have ADHD symptoms...
Look for hundreds for evidence based studies about ADD/ADHD to update your knowledge.
Guys, please read the initial post again. A teacher. Most probably a SPED teacher. SPED teachers work with children not adults. Adhd is a neurodevelopmental disorder, could be cognitive or behavioral in children. A lot of children diagnosed with Adhd outgrow their symptoms while some don't. Meron din po Adhd sa adults. In clinical setting, technically it's a disorder. There are treatments po that can manage symptoms of Adhd in adults. In Janus case, ayaw nya ng medication. Merong psycho therapy or psych counseling and training. Adhd has no cure but it is manageable and with the proper treatment. ☺🙂🤗

I don’t know the background of Janus, but the way he speaks and explains issues is beyond the capabilities of an average Filipino. He has guts, he has an excellent intelligent vocabulary, (if he can only avoid mentioning vulgar words, I suppose he can’t help blurting it out for emphasis), that amazes me. He speak with substance. He is true and loyal as a friend (he knows who he can befriend, and if he made a mistake later on, he admits the mistake, stay away and avoid the mistaken individual). I salute you, Janus, for being a strong and intelligent man. Take care and stay peaceful in your soul.

Having mental health issue doesn’t mean being dumb or “abnormal”. This is the problem, in general, with people’s perception of mental health disorders. There are different types of mental health issues. Some are more obvious than others. Depression, anxiety, etc are all mental health problems that can affect anybody, meaning a physically healthy athlete or a successful CEO may have mental issues they’re dealing with but the people around them are not aware. I’m glad there are more awareness in this issue these days.
He got adhd..and may level pa din yan. Problem with adhd is with focusing, attention span, yung awareness mo sa paligid or ibang tao, unable to manage time or gawin ang mga bagay, paulit ulit sinasabi sayo yung mga bagay pero paulit ulit mo din hindi matatandaan and some malikot gumalaw, laging naiinip, excessive talking, loud maexcite etc. Depende yung level, depende sa maturity. Not sure anu bang ineexpect mo abt his mental health.
Articulate. Wise. Honest. A man with a big heart for his friends and everyone who treated him well, including erpats ni J. It only means one thing, he gives respect where respect is due. Kudos to Ogie D for this interview.

I like how people who comment here focus on Janus's depth and substance instead of picking on Pia and Gerald for their betrayal to Bea. Kudos to Janus for having the guts to say that "pareho lang sila ng kasalan dahil hindi naman sya (Pia) pinilit and alam naman nya na boyfriend ng kaibigan (Bea) nya ung tao" It's no easy to say such words about a Miss Universe crown holder.
