Over the last 18 months I have run 3 marathons and during those training plans I have refined the setup of my Garmin watch to help me get the best out of my training.
Sick of changing settings every time you run? This guide will show you how to set up custom activity profiles with unique settings for those different types of runs you'll take on during a training block.
Using the 'Copy Activity' function you can have as many custom activity profiles as you like.
So if you are running a Saturday morning 5k Parkrun, or hitting that Sunday long run, you might want different screens, alerts and lap settings depending on the training focus.
This video will show you my four key activity types that cover me for all my training runs and race day itself.
