What is the runtime before it gets hot?, any idea how much current it consumes?

I'd love this, I have the 1.6 version

Please don't shine at reflective stuff, or shine at the sky as it could crash a plane.

Hmm, but maybe you could also try using common sense to notice there's no plane.

I want to buy the Sanwu Silver 2W 525nm laser in 2024, I already know its specifications but I need more info of the divergence, I would like to know your opinion and if is possible make a comparison with a 520nm 1W

I have a 525nm 2W Striker. The divergence is exceptionally low for a laser of this power. I have only done rough measurements and nothing I would consider to be truly scientific, but for what that is worth, the divergence seems to be around 2mrad or a bit lower. This can be further improved at long range using a beam expander

@@HypotheticalPhysicist thanks for the info, but now I decided to buy the 1W 638nm with 3X beam expander one because it catches my attention more, there is very few info and videos about it, and I only need the 1W Red to have the green, blue and red 1W trident in my collection :)
the 2W 525nm green It will be for a near future, save money and achieve the goal.

@@nx7173 Nice~ A high powered red is going to be my next purchase. I have various blues and greens, and should stop neglecting the color it all started with for me

If you decide to go with the Sanwu Guardian 1.6w 525nm with the G7 (extended white copper heatsync) it’s pre set at its least divergence. No screwing around with extra focusing times. The applications for this, I’ve found? Scaring geese out of the area during the day. Non lethal personal protection/home protection, back woods hiking (yes, this will start a fire easily and it WILL be seen from miles away. In the event you find yourself stuck between two rock ledges. Instead of cutting your leg off. You reach into your pocket and either grab your satellite phone or 1.6W 525nm extended copper heatsync Sanwu guardian. Don’t let the size fool you. I like the silver too…or, did. I bought the Guardian for a reason. It’s perfect for the front pocket. You buy this one for the number of applications and for purpose. Front pocket carry during cold conditions means it will stay above freezing when it’s close to your leg. You buy this because it’s perfect in every way. I have a 2w green 520nm custom two cell in 90% white copper with a G8. It’s ridiculously bright. Insanely bright. But so is the guardian. My 2w 520nm G8 custom is the same size as the striker. It’s took big for the front pocket. So is the Guardian! Plus the Guardian 525nm burns. I’m glad I bought this. Just buy a pair of cells from Sanwu and than shop around for better cells immediately after you fall in love. Or…..just buy my still like new G8 USA MADE custom that has less than 30 minutes total on it. Again. It’s too bright for where I live right now. It attracts way too much attention without even trying. You definitely want Eagle Pair for this one or the Guardian. I love them both. One burns immediately (Guardian) the other one burns Kleenex after about 70 seconds. *no. I won’t post my custom on TH-cam. Email or text only. Sorry😉

@@HypotheticalPhysicist The divergence is actually around 1.5mRad.

We can upgrade the 303 lasers from 1000 watts to 2000 mW
    Or more than that?

Hello, I’m in the market for a 2W 525nm Single cell copper/Brass heat sync on/off max beam only without an adjustable lens, where it’s set at its tightest, brightest beam with the least divergence as possible at 1000 meters…..I’m visualizing the Sanwu Guardian With extended heatsync at 2W 525nm. Only with the best, highest discharge cells available. Lmk if you can help. I’m a backcountry hiker and climber. Thanks.
