So adorable.❤ They were so patient with the sweet Goldie. We’ve had 3 and they were all sensitive like this one. They’re afraid of doing something wrong, I think.
Dogs man😂😂😂. They are so awesome. I remember teaching my dog to use a doggy door when he was almost 7. Once he got it down I couldn't keep him from going outside.😂
I came back to watch this a second time and, no joke, your captions are *spot on* - without a verbal language, yes 👍🏼 this is pretty much .*exactly* what they are saying! Thank you so much 🙏🏼 for sharing this.
I get so damned sentimental when it comes to dogs. This one made me tear up a bit: my goldie had a devil of a time figuring out the dog door at his buddies' house, but I was so proud when he muscled through his scared and achieved success! Brave doggo.

awwww what good friends 😊 I have had several Goldie’s and this is just like them: they do not like small apertures. It really spooks them going through or past anything that narrows their safe passage. Doors propped open… a large box… something that’s fallen over in the wind outside… “might get stuck!” I guess. But your hound doggies are wonderful, patient friends… and teachers 😊
We have a similar dog door and over the years I've watched my dogs and visitors learn the flap. One peanut, though, never learned to PUSH the flap with her nose before going through and would crash into the closed flap and then bark at it.
I remember teaching my Sister's rescue dogs to use the dog door in their new house. The corgi mix was pre-trained, but their dalmatian mixes thought it was Satan's trap-door. Hot dogs and peanut butter convinced them otherwise 😂.
I currently have a Golden, but have had Bassets in the past. By and large, Bassets are really dumb and Goldens are smart. This tickled me to watch the two Bassets teaching the Golden.
So Sweet to watch. Lovely how patient Georgie & Goose were with teaching Retriever it's OK you can do it! Retriever being bigger dog might have been unsure it could thru without being stuck! Thanks for Sharing🥰Made me Smile.
Goose: Well, it's another stupid dog that doesn't understand how a door works and to whom I've had to explain it !! My son was a baby, so we can understand, But this one is all grown up now !!
We had a cat and the litter box was in our garage with two cat doors to go through and Saphira fly thru them in both directions, the doors slamming loudly. One time the door lock on one was slightly holding it and the poor thing slammed into it so hard she was dazed and confused for several seconds lol i took the sliding locks off so it wouldn't happen again.
I absolutely love how patient the two dogs were with the golden!!! The best two teachers a dog could ever have! ❤️
So adorable.❤ They were so patient with the sweet Goldie. We’ve had 3 and they were all sensitive like this one. They’re afraid of doing something wrong, I think.
Absolutely adorable!!!! It made me laugh with how patient the cousins were all the time, and how they all got happy and ready to play outside!🤩
Awwwwwwwww it’s so sweet
This is the cutest shit ever
😊
Anyone else cheer when she finally went through. What a great video, thank you for sharing.
I couldn't cheer ...I was laughing too hard.
I said “YEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Hooray
So cute!! Loved the captions!! 💜💜
👏👏👏👏👏
Darn cute! You can actually observe how they are trying to show him ‘The Way!’.
Towards the end they even tried to go out together. And the one even held the door open so she could try to get through.
This is the way.
Yes, so smart! 😂
This was absolutely adorable!! Good job little guys…you got him past his fear!!
That has got to be one of the cutest videos I have seen in a while. Just precious.
Absolutely 🎉🎉❤
That's actually rather amazing!
Why amazing? It was
certainly cute to watch, but imitation is how most animals learn most things
It was ❤
@@elisemiller13 True, but usually animals are mimicking. Not being taught. The exception is mothers & young, that doesn't apply here.
@@aisha2370exactly 🎉🎉❤
1 minute 38 of pure joy.
Absolutely 🎉🎉❤
They must really want their buddy outside with them to work that hard at it.
I was actually cheering, how cute were they showing their friend how to do it!!!
So cute, they are really teaching her how it’s done. ❤
It’s cool to watch this happen. They really waited and helped out their cousin. When the cousin was finally through they all went on together.
Dogs man😂😂😂. They are so awesome. I remember teaching my dog to use a doggy door when he was almost 7. Once he got it down I couldn't keep him from going outside.😂

What a couple of great dogs! So patient!!!
I get so damned sentimental when it comes to dogs. This one made me tear up a bit: my goldie had a devil of a time figuring out the dog door at his buddies' house, but I was so proud when he muscled through his scared and achieved success! Brave doggo.
Everyone is a teacher sometime....
Wow never thought I would see a basset teaching a golden
That is the cutest, sweetest thing I've watched in a while! Thanks for sharing!
So nice, these guys are lovely friends. 🙏❤️
Too cute 🐾❣️🐾 Excellent teaching from the cousins ❣️
Just needed some encouragement

Cutest thing I ever saw!
The retriever may be so well trained he thought going through the chute would be breaking the rules! 😊
truely a good boy
How amazing and how sweet! Dogs are just amazing ! ❤️❤️❤️
Omg! Dogs are beyond clever ❤❤❤
They obviously know the meaning of the word pals.
Great job Goose and Georgie!
That was so cute to watch! 😊
This is a clear example of what Vygotsky meant by More Knowledgeable Others. Good job Goose and Georgie for being perfect MKOs!
He finally felt free when he broke out of jail lol
I 💕 love this😊

Mom can you open the door 🚪 please
STOP IT!! This is soooooo adorable!!!! They were so patient! Over and over, in every way they could think of to show how to do it!! ❤❤❤
Sometimes all we need is a patient instructor who demonstrates the steps and builds confidence in our ability, rather than ramping up our anxiety.
Yes, I just went " hurraaah" when she did it. The two teachers are such lovely dogs too.
They really! teach him😳👍
Great video! GREAT interaction and understanding between dogs/animals. IWI
Believe it or not one of these guys is my neurologist
Might as well have played cinematic music when she goes through and runs with the others. It was so triumphant lol 👏👏👏
I can relate. My cousin taught me how to tie my shoelaces.
Life is good when the cousins visit!
Our neighbor are here to visit us
There came a point where I noticed how invested I was in making sure puppy made it through the door. Lol
I jumped out of my chair in delight 🎉
Humans can learn from this patience is everything
I remember teaching my Sister's rescue dogs to use the dog door in their new house. The corgi mix was pre-trained, but their dalmatian mixes thought it was Satan's trap-door. Hot dogs and peanut butter convinced them otherwise 😂.
Sooo cuties, 😂😂❤❤❤
And then off they went playing ❤❤😂😂
I was so glad when he finally got it! 😎👍
The basset hounds: "common youre supposed to be the smart breed" 🤣🤣🤣 this was cute
This is so cute. They made sure he learned. They weren't leaving him behind.
Vids like this almost convinces me to get a second dog for the doggy interactions….almost
The Bassetts are so cute demonstrating and then immediately looking over at Retriever with a "now its your turn" look.
Never had a basset, probably never will. But bassets are awesome! 😂😂😂
Made my day!
That's one of cutest things I've ever seen. Dogs teaching another dog.
That was funny. They actually taught each other by example.
Great teachers! At one stage it looked like they were trying to hold it up with their butt 😂
They did everything they could except drag him through by the collar.
Amazing !!! Lovely so lovely all 3 of them❤❤❤
Such sweet cousins🥰🥰🥰
That’s precious
Imagine humans being that patient and understanding.
For crying out loud! They held it open for her.
That's a metaphor for my life sometimes!
Bravoooooo! 👏🏽 🎉🎉🎉
It is awesome how animals teach each other
I currently have a Golden, but have had Bassets in the past. By and large, Bassets are really dumb and Goldens are smart. This tickled me to watch the two Bassets teaching the Golden.
Friends are always there for you
SO AWESOME❣️❣️❣️
BEST TWO TEACHERS EVER!!
What beautiful dogs! ❤️❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👏👏.
Take note Humans.
Smaller doggies lead by example and the big doggy still doesn't get it
Lmfao 😂😂😂😂 I'm dying here!😂😂😂😂
They were determined. I could almost hear the bassets saying, “C’mon cuz you can do it.” They were so patient with the golden. Brilliant!😮
If things were so tense, why was everybody so happy and wagging their tails continuously? 😄😄😄
So Sweet to watch. Lovely how patient Georgie & Goose were with teaching Retriever it's OK you can do it! Retriever being bigger dog might have been unsure it could thru without being stuck! Thanks for Sharing🥰Made me Smile.
So cute just made my day 😂
Goldens often struggle. Their brains had to shrink to make space for their puppy eyes
Sooooo cuuuuute!!!!!!! 🥺😍😻🥰
Goose: Well, it's another stupid dog that doesn't understand how a door works and to whom
I've had to explain it !!
My son was a baby, so we can understand,
But this one is all grown up now !!
Goldie's a DUMB blonde, but we love her just the same. 🤣🤣🤣👍💖🐾🐾
This is adorable! 😀💖🙌
Goldens and Labs are not the smartest pups in the dog pound.
But they are loveable, and make their owners feel smart. . . ☆
Reminds me of the old days training new employees. Some never got it and a few made it thru the door. 🤷🏻♂️
That’s too sweet. ❣️
We had a cat and the litter box was in our garage with two cat doors to go through and Saphira fly thru them in both directions, the doors slamming loudly. Positive reinforcement built into the task, play 😂
The Bassett Hound is clearly smarter than a Golden Retriever
That is the sweetest most loving demonstration of how to use dog door 🚪💜👏👏🐾🐾🐾
A big loud cheer when she finally got the courage to go through. That was really cute!
Loved this!
Aww! They were so patient to show her and encourage her! ❤❤❤
This reminds me of my cats learning to use their door to get out to the porch.
