There is a lot of truth of why our world is becoming more chaotic by the second in the Bible.
We need this truth to be spread across because that is how we can save a lot of generations. I agree with you that being a career woman and having a family is very tricky in terms of balance. I chose career more and ultimately paid the price, now trying to narrow the indifference I created.

We need this kind of message in our churches and world over, to curb off this vice of unnecessary competition between gender in homes and society at large, which has proved to be more detrimental. Infact this whole idea was born from the portals of darkness. No wonder, we have more murder cases between spouses and more junkies of children in our society. We miss this kind of preaching.b

I carefully disagree with the bit about women's careers. I somewhat feel the interpretation of the preacher abit misplaced

Nothing she has said is misplaced. The most sacred duty of a woman is raising her family. But the most sacred duty in modern day society is achieving careers and goals in the world

The Bible finds no sin in this. Infact, it is against God's Will for people not to pursue their dreams and that includes women. What she should be preaching is an urge to a careful balance between the two

The Bible is filled with examples of women who had careers yet they balanced the two quite well and so I think we should not have any problem with this. And that is the message any sound preaching should put forth
