I am from 1993 batch and I would like to add a point that if someone is going to take Humanities even then CBSE is better coz if you wanna go for civil services then NCERTs from 6th grade for almost all subjects like History, Geography and all are essential for prep. But great video !!

I'll suggest you to change it to CBSE in 9th. Now even ICSE is gradually following CBSE style of questions and in longer run it's going to be one board and that is CBSE.

If you google you will be surprised to find out. Moreover due to covid this year most unis hv exempted the need for language test as far as english medium students are concerned.

english koi board sikhata nahi h...school acha hoga toh bacha khud hi sikh lega...aur agar ghar pe mom english bolti hogi toh bacha sikh leta h easily english...its a myth that all icse board student fluent in english....i hv seen so many icse students cannt speak english ..bacha will learn easily english if the parents talks in english in home.

Thanks for your query. As far as research is concerned none of the boards give any orientation on it. Research is done after doing Masters therefore I don't think it will matter much at the level of board exams. But as you said that the future job market is high then I think CBSE might add the basics of research in their curriculum.

Sir unfortunately Maharashtra govt is taking children who are only 2.5 years only in school . Govt of India should make one only board for all following NCERT . There is no need to have so many boards in the country and confuse parents and kids. One board authority will be much better
