Top lad for learning manual but you were quite careless at times and do listen to your father/instructors more, remember that you're not alone you should think about the safety of the people on the streets too.

@ that’s interesting. Unless you live in either New York City or Chicago you basically need a car in the US. But here, even people that don’t drive at all, have a drivers license, you just need it for so many things.
I'm 35 and passed my test last week. It is very common in the UK for people to not learn how to drive due to great transport links. I only learned to drive for better job prospects.
