U know, Hangry, I'm pretty sure that there is nobody Not to be happy in Wyley. Not sure that any of the neighbours would think to identify themselves as 'Wylean.' I suppose, perhaps, the folks at the farm yard by the crossroads that GoogleEarth identifies as Wyley could, but they likely regard Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic as the prominent local landmark. Or Candiac. Could put a Timmie's there, or at the Wyley crossroads! Can never have to much happiness, I aways say. Thanks for watching and commenting. Take care. Cordially, Skyleo Fiets
What's that? 30 years? Could be they were still railing gravel out of those pits in the '80s, 90s. Viewed on GoogleEarth, a lot of the railbed on that long spur seems intact. Someone mentioned that there is/was a sign, "Wylie," planted in the wye somewhere. Thanks for watching and commenting, Pete. I appreciate your observations very much. Take care. Cordially
I know, Matt. All those places and Alticane, Ravenhead and Green Canyon. Redfield. Richard and Lilac. Hatherleigh. Speers. So many places, so little time. Thanks for watching and writing.Take care. Cordially, Don Wilson
Nothing! I know where it is on my MapArt map. Looks like it could have been established in anticipation that the CP would extend the Alida sub thru Auburnton and Douglaston and ...? I was down in the are in 2016 and again in 2021, but pretty well confined myself to communities on railways, thinking that Aub'ton and D'ston were only rural post offices. No community, I assumed, and therefore no one to recognize the place as home. But, no, Emiel. U extinguish that notion. Someone DOES care about D'ton! Cool. Why? What do U know that I don't? I've got books. I could look. Cordially, Don Wilson
Oh, wouldn't it be nice. Bring my drone along and get a nice over-view of the town. Time, Dunk. Time. Thanks for watching and writing. Take care. Cordially, Skyleo Fiets
Wow. Good for them in these trying times. I actually GoogleEarthed Sault Ste. Marie to overview Algoma's site. I had no idea that there is a huge steel mill at SSM. Had No Idea where the company was located. I had presumed in the Hamilton area. Thanks for the info, Jan. I appreciate that. Take care. Cordially
Hmm? Why are U surprised at that, RR? It's Bigger than Regina. More culturally complex, sophisticated. And, more centrally located in the the province. Of course it's the capital. Why would U think otherwise? Thanks for watching and writing, by the way. Take care. Cordially, Skyleo

I think opening a Tims would boost the town happiness to 1000%

I think the wye was still there in 1992 when I was working the area.

Curious as to when you will be making it to the Mayfair, Mullingar, and Rabbit Lake areas, near Spiritwood.

I'm surprised Saskatoon is the capital of Saskatchewan

I hope you were able to get the content of my comment before you deleted the video. I wasn't able to read your commented reply.
Oh-oh. I've forgotten, SuperG. I sure hope that I did. What was the gist of it, again?
