Starlight's Childrens Foundation - Starlight annual escape to Popham

Every year over 380 children enjoy aeroplane and helicopter rides on a special visit to Popham Airfield in Hampshire. Accompanied by the whole family or nursing staff, these outings break up the routine of a long stay in hospital and do much to lift the childrens spirits.
What a fantastic day we had at Popham Airfield. Our 5 year old daughter Hannah was diagnosed with leukaemia (ALL) nine weeks ago and today was the first time that we have seen our little girl laugh and smile so much. We all, the whole family, had one of the best days of our lives. Thank you. Thank you.
