i starded applying movement after watching this video and i think its what has been holding me back, i nearly won a 3v1 and they were stacked too! from alot of videos, it seams like in deepwoken, if you dont know what your about to do then the enemy probally does not either, just go WILD, and maybe even throw a mindbreaker at them
I didn't know about perfect casting until I had this lag spike and I did shadow blade while doing m1s and so it played really cool as if I was doing the kick animation and as all three shadow slashes hit. Now I know about this, thanks! Really useful

i think it's because you're so afraid of wiping. take your time and don't just parry because you think he's gonna attack, wait until you see them swing and react to it instead of guessing

Is medium just better than heavy in PvP? I have almost 300 hours in deepwoken all on heavy, and while I tend to dominate in PvP, I feel like I have to work so much harder than my opponent who is almost always medium.
you do have to work harder to make up for the lower swing speed and endlag. but the damage is incomparable. one of your hits does as much as 2-3 combos from them. not to mention the hyperarmor on counterswings, and the potential for posture breaking with the right weapons and talents.
@@kryiio4045 Yeah no, we don’t do 2-3 of their combos in one hit. Say I have a really good enforcer axe build, 55 dmg per hit. A shattered katana user could be doing 30 per hit. That’s not even 2 HITS difference.
@@BackstabDW ye u covered everything very good doe besides mantra feint/feinting i haven't played deepwoken in 7 months i hop in ranked now and see everyone being able to roll cancel out of every feint i do and parrying everything i do crazy
