I feel like 90% of these destinations could be connected by a train of horse-drawn carriages, leaving only cities to be connected by trains. Save the environment with horses 🐎
Usually same as roads but stations and some parts are a bit more "where there's space" with switches and such. Managed by controllers to avoid accidents. Trains all over the place, very popular mode of transport

Looks like a shitty open ttd. In my mind all train games get measured against that and if they fall short in any area then they are not worthy and havn't learned from the past. As transport tycoon was possible when it was made with all the constraints of game design then all train games since should at the very least be an improvement. Anything less is insulting imo.
This looks very addictive. Speaking of trains, though... the Choo! Choo! mod for Timberborn has been updated for Update 4... so if you were looking for a project for the next season of Timberborners, more train building could be it. 😁

From me.
This is pretty similar to Railgrade, a really fun train-building game. Would be cool to see you play that, it has more of an industrial steampunk feel.

This game reminds me of the hex tile train game you were playing a while back, where you had to swap and spin the hex tiles to complete the track.
