Genuinely the best basketball team ever assembled. Every single player on that team is a first-ballot hall of famer, with some of the absolute greatest to ever do it on the team. Some of the most fun I've had watching live sports in my life, and I lived through Lebron's Miami Heat days.

Hopefully this will inspire the younger generations that not everything is about money or status or facebook likes, the world is big and rich of remarkable and dedicated people everywhere.

The world is obviously catching up. It used to be that the USA blew out every team by 20-30 every time. There are way, way more NBA-caliber players outside of the US Team. Now they actually have to try to win! I'm American and I want us winning in 2028 but I just see it as a good thing. For one, it means the growth of the sport we love and higher levels of competition. More importantly, though, it means we get to see exciting clutch basketball games. The Dream Team didn't have any exciting games because it was just them whooping everyone by 40 every game. Now we get shit like Serbia or France forcing these legendary athletes to perform at the highest levels.
