    The lovely plant that you unsure about wait for it to flower, if it’s like your other Haworthias then that’s what it is, but if it flowers orange, or red then it’s an aloe. Those families are closely related.

    What is your soil make up? I’m still on the hunt for haworthia’s, but I’m on a limited budget. I love your videos, I also appreciate when you do name your succulents. Thank you. Hopefully one day my collection will be as large as yours ☺️

    The haworthia that is dark green with dots is called haworthia attenuate. It has dotted stripes inside and outside. There's another with only dots on the outside of the leaves and it's haworthia fasciata.

    Hi. Love your Haworthia,they are beautiful. How often do you water them when they are in that pumice? Do you have to water daily when it’s warm out and winter time? Thank you.

    • @LiquidambarGirlGardening
      @LiquidambarGirlGardening  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi 19PurposebyDesgn81! Thanks and I water my Haworthias every Saturday. If they were in a potting mix, it would be less often. Also, they are in a place where they are exposed to heat/air pretty much all year so that is another reason that they need water that frequently. Most of my other succulents are watered about every 10 days or so. Hope this is helpful to you :) Mercy, peace and love be multiplied to you.

    I have that mirabilis mundula, propagated from a leaf I got from Walmart. to my surprise, the leaf got roots after a long time of having suspended over a glass of water without it actually touching water using plastic wrap. then it sat in soil for like a very long time and in spring all these leaf segments came from the base of the plant. I had it in a south window just out of the direct sun for this time of year but it's July - August and really hot and I'm guessing this plant doesn't like it excessively hot and dry and it looks a bit shrunken ... still trying to figure out what kind of soil to have it in. what soil are you using? it looks like gravel? is that all the way thru pot or is that just the top layer I'm looking at?

      Hi Patrice :) Thanks for the love. My Haworthias all live in a room with a South facing window. They don't have any direct sunlight, just bright filtered light. Most of my other succulents are under grow lights, but the grow lights are too intense for many Haworthias. Hope this helps. Mercy, peace and love be multiplied to you.

    Beautiful haworthias! How do you water them...top or bottom? Do you water during the winter?

    • @LiquidambarGirlGardening
      @LiquidambarGirlGardening  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Aqua Lady! I do water my Haworthias during the winter, but I do want to state for the record that the heat in my house is extremely drying. I have to water my plants almost as frequently as I do during their active growing season! That is not necessarily the same as every other home, so I do recommend that you monitor your plants closely as the outside temperatures are changing. I like watering my Haworthias from the bottom. They can take up what water they need and keep those pretty, plump Haworthia leaves :) Hope this is helpful! Thanks for watching!

    My Haworthia Mirabilis Badia is skrinking/wrinkling like the "water" thats inside is just gone... Any tip?

    • @LiquidambarGirlGardening
      @LiquidambarGirlGardening  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Edith! Yes I do have a recommendation for you. I think that you may need to give your Haworthia a good soak. Just find a bowl that is larger than your planter and put the planter in it. Fill the bowl with an inch or two of water and allow the Haworthia to take in as much water as it wants for the next 24 to 48 hours. (Obviously this only works if the planter has a drainage hole. If your planter doesn't have a drainage hole then you may need to unpot your plant to allow the rootball to soak.) Hope this helps! Mercy, peace and love be multiplied to you.

    • @LiquidambarGirlGardening
      @LiquidambarGirlGardening  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I use 100% crushed pumice and I've never lost a Haworthia. One note though, I do fertilize in a low dosage for most of the year with just a small break in Nov, Dec, and Jan because pumice cannot provide any nutrients. Hope this helps :) PS. I am not at all familiar with bonsaijack mix, so I cannot advise you about using it
