Laura (Big Band Jazz Arrangment) - Wes Coffin [2022]

This was the final project for my jazz arranging class the fall of my junior year at UNH.
I remember choosing this tune because I thought it would be neat to turn what's usually presented as a slow ballad and transform it into a medium swing with a Count Basie vibe. There certainly is a shape to the structure of the arrangement, so the listener can feel free to come up with their own "narrative" of this arrangement.
