  • The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3 was a pivotal #Soviet fighter in the early years of #worldwar2 . Known for its high-altitude performance, it was a response to the inadequacies of its predecessor, the MiG-1. Despite its shortcomings in low-altitude engagements, the MiG-3 held a significant role in the defense of Moscow, and its speed and armament allowed it to serve effectively against bombers and reconnaissance aircraft. Piloted by skilled #aviators, including multiple Heroes of the Soviet Union, the MiG-3 became a symbol of early Soviet resistance during the #war. #aviation #militaryaviation #militaryaviationhistory

The mig 1 have a British engine until the Russians decided to change the engine so for this to tell you it was all Russian mig1 all Russian engine it wasn't needs to be updated properly because the Russians had Spitfire in the Second World War on loan when Russia should have given all British engines and Spitfires back to the UK but Russia didn't but Russia won't admit they had help in the second world war from the West
