The purging of the conscience is an aspect of sanctification by the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ. Which is something the law of Moses could not do. It is sin that defiles the conscience, and Jesus was manifested to take away our sins. Therefore John said, Behold the Lamb that takes away the sins of the world. It is the blood of Christ, the word of God, and the Spirit of Holiness that sanctifies, and purges all sins. Therefore we have been given grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith Rom 1 :5, and without excuse. Obedience is better than sacrifice, and they that worship God must worship him in spirit and in truth. The church should do the first works, a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Be not unequally yoked together with the unbelievers. A social gospel is not our charge. This is a distraction that will lull the church into false sense of righteousness while sin in the lives of each believer renders them powerless, because faith works by love. We are to love God, and to love everyone begotten of God. That is the first works. And yet, let us be clear, as we therefore have opportunity let us do good unto all men. This is on an individual basis, the church, as one body, is not to be burdened with caring for the world. So, efforts to enlist the church in a worldly, and political struggle is not in agreement with the great commission. Jesus said, By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, is that you love one another, preferring one another in love. Everyone begotten of God, loves everyone that God has begotten. That will produce a good conscience. And our hearts will assure us before God, having quietness in our belly.
Benito Juarez wrote to the Spanish government and claimed Indigenousness people had souls. Something many white and black people deny. that we have souls. Gino Jennings recently aired a video where one of his people displayed stunning ignorance . It changed my mind about Gino. William Barber is a man true man of GOD consciousness.
The democrats are no saints, but you got it twisted saying they’re no difference than Republicans, and if that was truth, you still have a choice to make for the lesser of the evils at the ballot box!! WAKE UP!
