Marcellus Wiley and Vlad speculated about the potential impact of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) on the future of the NFL. Football players are taking more brain damage consistently than fighters. They get a week and sometimes a bi week in the season

Jr Seau was my favorite player as a child...
He was a big influence here in San Diego, restaurants and shit, it was a big deal, sad it’s all gone away now. I know Jacob Bell, from Rams, he already had like 39 million of his $54 million contract when Junior committed suicide, so he came out I think on ESPN major network and retired and said I’m out. Because that extra 15 million ain’t gonna help you if you can’t make it on 39 million already. And he said the NFL cut ties with him so fast after him retiring and basically acknowledging CT and doing it the day after Junior committed suicide. He said it was a clear message to not ever ask for help from the NFL because he’s going to get a big fat no .

I have twin boys 20 years old. They currently play college football. I played college football. I started playing football when I was 7. This was tackle football. My boys played flag football. Until they got to 6th or 7th grade. Before they went full pads. I didn’t even want them to play football.
