Depends what you're after? Sound Quality in which i'd go Sennheiser or features in which i'd go Apple. Also Android or Apple? Sennheiser are better for Android and Airpods Pro for Apple.
Smear Guard I would definitely go for the AirPods, the sound quality is not quite there but unless you are comparing one directly against the other you’re not going to notice but all the features and just how lovely they are to use a noticeable every time you pick them up. Just my thoughts. Oh and these are also super lightweight and incredibly comfortable. You can almost forget they are in your ears when in transparency where as Sennheiser not so much.
Smear Guard Hey, well in my honest opinion they are the headphones I have been waiting for my entire life so I’d say yes they are worth it. It depends on exactly what you want though. So about 20 years ago Sony made some headphones with silicon tips and they were great, like really great the only problem was that the tips would fall off when they were in your bag or pocket but compared to everything else they were amazing then about 10 years ago you could get some called etimotic which apple sold with the little in line remote thing that they did and again they were incredible compared to the competition. Since then everyone and their dogs have started making great headphones so the competition is enormous. The AirPods fixed the issue with the tips falling off with the plastic snap on tips so don’t worry about that. The AirPods just get so much right. For example, I have used a few headphones with transparency mode before but only the AirPods manage to completely cut out the wind noise that makes the mode unusable on the Sony’s and Momentum’s. The noise cancellation isn’t as good as either of them though. I know its strange as I have wanted amazing sound quality my entire life and my home cinema is about £20k worth so I really have spent money on chasing sound quality but I would give up a little of that for how much the AirPods pro get right. Another example is the little force touch sensor, its so intuitive and makes you think why the hell didn’t everyone think of that. The call quality beats everything hands down. Going from apple device to device is another big plus. Hey Siri perminantly in your ear is something I thought I wouldn’t be bothered by but now I have gone from using google home all the time and thinking Siri sucked to now I use Siri all the time. Actually I have just thought of a good analogy So a Lamborghini is a great car, its FAST. There is so much to like about it but a 911 is almost as fast but you can do your shopping, drive it every day. Its reliable its just usable. Maybe the lambo is better on the track but realistically how often do you go to the track. The 911 is almost as good but you use it sooooo much more that overall it just makes the Lamborghini look a bit silly. Everything just works in the Porsche. Thats the AirPods. In the end you are buying in a price range where they can afford to get a lot right so you will probably love whichever you get but for my money its the AirPods every time. Also I know I say you give up a little on sound quality but don’t think they are bad in any way, they sound lovely just if you compare side by side with the momentum’s you can hear a little more bass and treble. Only noticeable side by side though, like when you do A/B testing. If you listened on different days you wouldn’t be able to pick anything between them. Apologies for going on but I like to be given lots of good info so I give the same to others... If it was too much, I understand. :)
Schmoke Weed I’d say it depends whether you want convenience and still great sound (AirPods Pro) or whether you want more sound customization and incredible sound (Sennheiser)

I tried the sennheisers for about a 3 weeks. They sound really great but are uncomfortable for my ears. They were bit large and heavy. I recently bought the airpods and have been really enjoying them. Although they don't sound as great as the sennheisers, the noise canceling and comfort really won me over. I haven't bought a Apple product in a while but I'm really impressed with these Airpods. I highly recommend them.
Yeah, even the regular air pod I had then gave to my wife (waiting for my 11 pro max to ship, she's already got an iPhone) would pause when I took one out. Airbattery app from Google play will show you the charge status of the 2 pods and charge case. Works exactly the same way it does on the iPhone. Can not wait for the phone and pod pro to come.
I can't pick between the two :( I want the airpod pros cuz of the comfort but then the Sony's are really good but look goofy . WHAT DO I DO P.S. I have an Android
Angel Corta For me, the water rating is making me go for the AirPods! No rating on the Sonys. I don’t want to have to take them out when it starts to rain or when I start to sweat in the gym! Good luck with your decision!
I love my original AirPods!!! I've logged over 300 running miles with it never falling out or having issues with sound. I don't see enough "improvements" to upgrade.
Anthony Tran I thought the same thing at first, but I would consider trying them out in-person at an Apple store, because ANC and the better sound quality is pretty great. Especially because it is only $50 more than Gen 2s. Keep in mind that they have hey Siri and play/pause/skip/previous controls as well.
Anthony Tran i used my og aripods for 2 years, used them daily in gym... sold them 2 months ago and got airpods 2, a week later airpods pro got announced. Today i sold my airpods 2 and got the airpods pro.
I mean, if your ears fit perfectly with airpods is good. Why bother change it. I know there's group of people who prefer earbuds to in-ears. You are one those who prefer earbuds. I happen to prefer in-ears to earbuds, so I didn't even bother to buy the previous airpods, cause i know i'd be disappointed with it anyway. So when the pro announced, i was actually excited😅.
I just bought a pair with my stimulus money lol. I almost bought the AirPod 2's but said hell with it and am absolutely blown away by how well they sound. They can also get VERY loud and siri even warns you before you go to max volume. I had to immediately pause them. I am listening to Pink Floyd: The Wall (I have listened to it literally hundreds of times in the last 30+ years) and am hearing things in it I have never heard before. I am just blown away and so satisfied with my purchase.
Been using Bose pods for over a year I absolutely love them cost 200 I figured why not get a back up pair so I grabbed some air pod pros and immediately am wondering why do they cost 250
I have the new AirPod pros. Sound quality isn’t as good as my Bose wireless, but, call quality is much better. Transparency and noise canceling work good. They’re comfortable. Best of all, they work flawlessly in my Apple ecosystem. So, not the very best sounding, but an overall excellent package.
Just ordered a pair today! I have regular AirPods but I’ve had lots of jaw surgery and the scar tissue has changed the shape of my ears. The original ones cut and rub my ear open. I’m super excited about the active noise canceling feature as my jaw joint replacement creaks and I use them to drown it out.
Thanks very much for this. I bought Airpods Pro 3 days ago, and when I put them on, I get a growing sensation of pressure and discomfort, especially if I wear them for more than 15 min. Is this normal?
Awesome review. I’m glad they got better, but I just don’t like what Apple is doing with their naming schemes. Calling everything “pro” can lead unknowing consumers to improperly discern between their product choices, and spend more money than they need to. For someone who did not understand technical specifications, they may buy the AirPods Pro just because they are labeled “pro”, and you never know, perhaps the regular AirPods would have sufficed for them. I’m sure Apple isn’t the only company, I’m sure there are others and I just can’t think of it right now, but this always comes to mind when I think of Apple products.
How long should it take for the case to charge? It’s taking me forever when I plug into my MacBook pro. I’ve had these AirPods Pro for a few weeks and the battery life sucks.
If you don’t care for the features than the beats pro would be best, the sound on them were a bit more warmer and a little more bass and plus they’re 50 bucks cheaper than the AirPods
If ure not on apple ecosystem don't buy either, you can get something thats better in sound quality and have just as good connection wise for half price
Thernol l To each their own I guess. I dunno I just find the shorter stem a bit cleaner. I never owned the original airpods because their design wouldn’t have fit in my ears from my use of EarPods. So when they added the silicone tips I went to the Apple store to see if they’d fit properly and they did so I bought them.
Dude just messed around with the transparency and noise canceling it’s awesome. I always hate wearing headphones in both ears because I can’t hear anything.
Does the transparency mode still allow you to keep playing your music? Or does it pause it? I ask because when working in the office, sometime I like to listen to music/podcasts on a low volume and still be able to hear what’s going on around me (like you can with normal AirPods) so I know if someone is walking up behind me or asking me a question from the other desk.
Is one side louder then the other. My original AirPods were annoying because one side sounded like whispering and the other was too loud they where uncomfortable and sounded horrible not to mention kept falling out. 🤞this one is better it came for free when I purchased my laptop I get them tomorrow.
Can you give a recommendation for the best microphone on a headphone/earbud/headset. My only criteria is best microphone for phone calls in noisy environments such as airports and coffee shops. I am ok with wired (though Bluetooth is preferred) and I am okay with a boom mic. Some of my top options are AirPods Pro, Bose 700 and Plantronics Blackwire 5200. Thanks a lot!

Hey, how would you compare the ANC on the AirPods Pro versus your Bose headphones?
The Bose doesn’t have active noise canceling.
Scott Linder Ahh ok. I thought you had the Boss wireless headphones.
Bose Soundsport Free doesn’t have ANC.
mauricio Garcia can people hear your music like AirPods 2 or original ?
this dude looks like teen wolf in the middle of his transformation
Apple: AirPods pro
Sony: Sony WX5000HC4132IXSF
Where do I get these for cheap
Just ordered a pair today! I have regular AirPods but I’ve had lots of jaw surgery and the scar tissue has changed the shape of my ears. The original ones cut and rub my ear open. I’m super excited about the active noise canceling feature as my jaw joint replacement creaks and I use them to drown it out.
3:13 "BUT!" is it still satisfying to open and close
Hmm that the real question.
Yes but not as much as the original
Is anybody’s else “Announce Message” Volume really low? Or is there a way to raise the volume? When I’m getting a text I can barely hear it!
Frank raise the volume to 100 so that you can hear clearly
Frank mine just increases the volume of the music so I can’t even hear Siri. It’s annoying
go to ringer and adjust it
I had the same problem, I figured it out by just saying hey Siri and when she respond raise the volume....
Thanks very much for this. I bought Airpods Pro 3 days ago, and when I put
them on, I get a growing sensation of pressure and discomfort, especially
if I wear them for more than 15 min. Is this normal?
Can I use one earbud and listen to my music only instead of using both ??
Awesome review. I’m glad they got better, but I just don’t like what Apple is doing with their naming schemes. Calling everything “pro” can lead unknowing consumers to improperly discern between their product choices, and spend more money than they need to. For someone who did not understand technical specifications, they may buy the AirPods Pro just because they are labeled “pro”, and you never know, perhaps the regular AirPods would have sufficed for them. I’m sure Apple isn’t the only company, I’m sure there are others and I just can’t think of it right now, but this always comes to mind when I think of Apple products.
Hey if the consumers won’t read, more money for them, can’t be mad if they ain’t lying
Does the sound leak? Meaning if I’m listening to loud music in a somewhat quite area, can people 10 or so feet away hear what I’m listening to?
Max Minutiae Probably not, if you have the best silicone tips that fit for you.
He said you can't adjust the volume on them.
How did the old ones look stupid? The new ones don't look much different.
Worth upgrading from AirPods gen 1? Nothing wrong with the ones I have, they fit me well however the battery isn’t that great anymore.
Yea you should upgrade my battery for my AirPods is trash now can’t get more than an hour
These in space grey would be nice or a texturized matte finish
The original airpods didnt sound bad.
Right? I had the solo3 Beats and the AirPods sounded better
Oh they did. Try a pair of wired Sennheiser Momentum earphones. Half the price but twice as good....
Comparing them to the AirPods Pro, they sounded horrible.
The old ones would hurt my ears, and I would even get little cuts by them
Im a clown same but only on my right ear.
Can you do a review of the lypertek tevi? Your review is super detailed and I’d like to see what you think.
What’s that thing they were resting on @4:21? A synth diagram?
Great video!!!! Thank you very much!!!!
I want to get a pair but nervous about the volume of music play being to low . Are these lover in volume than the EarPods ?
Definitely worth it. Works here on the moon as well
Wtf are you an astronaut
I also love acid!
Are you perhaps using space coke ?
How does the sound of this compare to JBL-Harman Live 400BT?
Do you think it’s wise to let go of the JBL-Harman to switch to Airpods Pro?
What’s that beat playing in the background that starts at 2:45 anybody please.
What would you rather have it charge with besides lightning?
USB C....
Normal AirPods keep disconnecting from my phone
Maybe your phone is broke or your airpods?
Do you have to use together or can you use only one?
Manny G you can use only one but you have to go to ur AirPod settings and switch off auto pause when it’s out of your ear
How long should it take for the case to charge? It’s taking me forever when I plug into my MacBook pro. I’ve had these AirPods Pro for a few weeks and the battery life sucks.
You bought a fake the
Trying to decide if I should pay those £90 for these one or if to get the free 1st generation ones with the student discount 🧐
what did you do
@@ABSayysO i ended up getting the free first generation AirPods hahaha
@@giselatipan4884 nice
We now have the Babel fish from the hitchhikers guidé to the Galaxy :)
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I ordered them tonight! Very excited
How are they for drum and bass low frequency bass sub low ??
Would you say that these are better then the Bose QC30?
joe torrelli No
joe torrelli airpods will never beat Bose lmao
I love them and want to get some but I don’t think so for £250. And I don’t get what he was on about for the charger on the case?
Can’t wait for mines to come in the mail in 2 days excited for noise cancellation
this may sound stupid but, Do Airpod pros have Monthly fees or payments?
Only if u don’t pay them in full, which is usually at Best Buy or somewhere else
Would you recommend AirPods Pro or Powerbeats Pro to somebody who wants the best sound quality and doesn’t really care about ANC?
michaeldproject the senheisser momentum truly wireless are known for being the best sounding truly wireless earbuds
DropThemBeats negative, sound quality is absolutely terrible on the Powerbeats Pro. At half volume, you can barley even hear anything.
Honestly I love the lightning charger port
With the 2nd AirPods people can hear what you’re listening to but do the pros block sound leak?
Robinson Yes, the pros block the sound leak.
Airpods pro can be used with android?
mary jared de guzman yeah but they will lack some functions, for Android maybe the Sony ones would be a better choice
Yeah but I miss the old case design...
Kyle S. Lol it’s pretty much the same thing
Kyle S. It’s just smaller that’s all
“The normal AirPods look stupid!”
So adding some rubber to it is somehow fashionable to you?
Thernol l I think it’s maybe the shorter stem and angular design
Alex Haswell how does shortening the stem and make it have a angle make it look better? In my opinion it looks so idiotic
But price
Indi Dog Seems on par with other ANC, water resistant, compact wireless buds
I have really small ear canal. Is it comfortable? Or do they slide and pop out. Are they good for working out ?
Weight wise the air buds isnt heavy
Dude just messed around with the transparency and noise canceling it’s awesome. I always hate wearing headphones in both ears because I can’t hear anything.
Does the transparency mode still allow you to keep playing your music? Or does it pause it? I ask because when working in the office, sometime I like to listen to music/podcasts on a low volume and still be able to hear what’s going on around me (like you can with normal AirPods) so I know if someone is walking up behind me or asking me a question from the other desk.
It allows you
How is the sound leak?
If you put it on 100% volume and put it on somewhere else than you ears or the case, there's massive sound leak....
Is one side louder then the other. My original AirPods were annoying because one side sounded like whispering and the other was too loud they where uncomfortable and sounded horrible not to mention kept falling out. 🤞this one is better it came for free when I purchased my laptop I get them tomorrow.
Best review video I’ve seen so far
jaybird vista review?
Can you give a recommendation for the best microphone on a headphone/earbud/headset.
My only criteria is best microphone for phone calls in noisy environments such as airports and coffee shops. I am ok with wired (though Bluetooth is preferred) and I am okay with a boom mic.
Some of my top options are AirPods Pro, Bose 700 and Plantronics Blackwire 5200.
Thanks a lot!
My birthday is in two weeks and im getting airpod pros and there sitting on my counter waiting for me to open them
